Hearing Loss

We talk about it frequently, what's worse? Not able to see or to hear. Hearing loss, it doesn't sound terrible to me since I hear a lot at times too much and if it comes to sounds it's mostly too loud. I already watch films without sound and I don't listen to music too much although a bit more this year. A bit as in I listen to not even 10 songs. My phone never rings, no notifications are set on I like to live in silence. Not that it is silent, it never is and for sure not on the countryside. Sounds can also be felt, If a car arrives I can feel it in the ground and I can see some buildings move. The pets I have are quiet.

I like to show this short film: Deaf
I chose this one because I am sick and tired of all the lecturing of being different. If it comes to being different everyone is and if it comes to others deciding what you should do, we all deal with that, Most of us are overruled no matter if you are deaf, disabled, a teenager, elderly, a foreigner, a cleaning lady or whatever. This film shows that if you like someone it doesn't matter. The fact both don't say anything or do the first step has more to do with being an introvert as being deaf and if it comes to making friends most of us are not able to. Perhaps deaf is a plus here. No need to talk, you are not distracted by the sound of a voice, you can write, read and respond.
