RE: Am I the Laziest Writer Ever - Part II

I never got anywhere with my degree either but I don’t consider that time wasted as I learned a lot and had a great time, unlike school which I consider an almost total and complete waste of twelve years.

I was exaggerating a little bit ( for comic relief ) but not much.
I only had a great time, in the first year or two, or three, of Uni and then I started struggling with my thesis, a process that ended up taking almost 3 years ( and during which I felt pretty miserable ).

School was definitely a waste of time too but it felt a lot more like 'play' ( especially primary school ).

Enjoy your Sunday!

I remember playing during breaktimes but I was doing way too many things I didn't find that interesting for it to be enjoyable for me XD

Struggling through a thesis you're not enjoying would suck x_x

It did suck. I also had to change mentors ( or whatever they are called not that they mentored me much ) twice and my brother ( 15 back then ) almost died, midway through the thesis process. Luckily he's still around ❤️

Having to change mentors would be pretty disruptive. I had a mentor that I was worried abou at uni because they were an "interesting" lecturer (we didn't learn much from the lectures and basically ended up doing a lot of study on our own for that class) but was an amazing mentor.

Gah glad your brother survived, that would have been really traumatic D:
