Me Time is a Comedy Bomb
Me Time is one of those comedies that give you a light dose of laughter and crazy situations. The movie is about Sonny, a devoted father to his children and always committed to his family life to the point that he forgot what time for himself means. But when his wife and children go on vacation, he finds himself in front of the opportunity to return to live a life of adventures with his old friend "Hawk". And here the chaos begins.
Throughout the movie, you will find yourself laughing at the amount of strange situations that happen to Sonny especially since he is not used to the random and crazy life of Hawk. From crazy parties to strange chases and endless problems, everything in the movie tries to make you enjoy without thinking too much.
If you like light comedy movies that do not require concentration, Me Time will be a nice choice for a comfortable siting at home. It is not the best comedy movie in history, but it is enjoyable and suitable if you want something to relieve you from the pressure and laugh a little from the heart.
The most distinctive thing in the movie is the chemistry between Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg. Kevin Hart as usual plays the role of the nervous father who is forced into comedic situations, which makes the laughter come naturally. On the other hand, Mark Wahlberg plays the role of the crazy friend who always gets his friend into trouble, which increases the dose of comedy in the movie.
The performance was good, even if the story itself is not new or surprising. Me Time is a nice movie if you want something light to watch after a long day but it is not for everyone. If you are looking for a strong story or brilliant comedy you may feel that it is an ordinary movie and nothing new in it. But it remains a suitable choice if you like something fun without complications, with some laughter and crazy situations.
