Joaquin Phoenix wasn't just acting in Joker

Listen my friend the movie Joker is not just a regular movie that you watch turn off the TV and go to sleep No its the kind that stays in your mind after its over and keeps working inside you you sit and think about it and connect what you saw to things in your life Its a heavy movie not easy but if you like movies that delve into the human psyche you'll love it.

The Story

The story is simply about a guy named Arthur Fleck Joaquin Phoenix a man living in Gotham City which is a city full of poverty and violence and the world is really bad Arthur works as a clown wears strange clothes and tries to make people laugh but he himself is psychologically tired He has a disorder that makes him suddenly laugh hysterically even when theres nothing funny Imagine being in an embarrassing situation or someone annoys you and you laugh involuntarily People misunderstand him harass him and his life is miserable.

Arthur lives with his mother who always tells him that he is a special person and that he has a great future but he doesnt see any of that in his life People in the street beat him his colleagues at work laugh at him and every time he tries to be a normal person the world breaks him more.

Joaquin Phoenixs performance in this movie is honestly something to study The man sculpted the role he made every detail in his appearance movement and voice tell you that you are in front of a person who is under pressure and whose mind is completely out of control His way of laughing which is in fact a very sad laugh hurts you You feel that he is crying out for help while he laughs.

The music is a story on its own The soundtrack seems to come from Arthurs heart the melodies make you feel his pain and at the same time make you feel that you are on the edge of the abyss.

The cinematography is also brilliant every shot is calculated The streets of Gotham are filled with poverty and misery the whole world is gray as if the movie is telling you Look this man is not alone in his badness the whole society is bad he was just too weak to resist The movie ultimately tells you that the people we call crazy or criminals may have been victims before they became such And that what we call evil is sometimes the result of pressure and injustice more than it is a choice.

This is one of my favorite movies. But as you say, it's heavy, it's not for everyone. The second one is also heavy. But I still have them as my favorites. I found them both amazing and well-made. Thanks for sharing your opinion, it was a pleasure to read you. 🧡
