Virginie is a widowed mother who must reconcile her life as a mother with her work as a farmer. After the death of her husband, she dedicates herself to raising grasshoppers on a small farm in order to support her family. The low profitability leads her to use dangerous techniques in order to increase the size of the insects, endangering her life, that of her neighbors and her family. This is the plot of the movie La Nuée, a drama and horror film directed by Just Philippot.
The film is set on a small farm in a French province. The plot's point of view invites us to reflect on the daily situations faced by women who are single mothers. Although the character of the mother is presented as a superwoman, she also lets us see her vulnerability as a human being who is capable of risking everything, even her own life, for her children.
On the one hand, it is evident how the logic of a society forces the mother not to weaken and for this she must put aside her condition as a feminine subject who remains in the background before the demands of the children.
The mother's character overflows to the point of touching the limits of madness and insanity.
The whole plot revolves around the mother. She weaves the threads of the conflict and unravels them. I invite you to watch this film full of suspense, terror and drama.

Virginie es una madre viuda que debe conciliar su vida de madre con su trabajo de agricultora. Tras la muerte de su esposo se dedica a la cría de saltamontes en una pequeña granja, para poder sostener a su familia. La poca rentabilidad le lleva a realizar técnicas peligrosas con el fin de aumentar el tamaño de los insectos, poniendo en peligro su vida, la de sus vecinos y su familia. Ésta es la trama de la película La Nuée, una película dirigida por Just Philippot de género drama y terror.
La locación de la película ocurre en una pequeña granja en una provincia francesa. La mirada desde la cual está planteada la trama nos invita a reflexionar sobre las situaciones cotidianas a las cuales deben enfrentarse las mujeres que son madres solteras. Aunque el personaje de la madre se presenta como una superwoman, también nos deja ver su vulnerabilidad como ser humano que es capaz de arriesgarlo todo, hasta su propia vida, por sus hijos. Se evidencia por un lado como la lógica de una sociedad obliga a la madre a no flaquear y para ello deberá dejar a un lado su condición de sujeto femenino quien queda en un segundo plano ante las demandas de los hijos.
El personaje de la madre se desborda hasta el punto de tocar los límites del desquicio y la locura.
Toda la trama gira en torno a la madre. Ella teje los hilos del conflicto y los suelta. Les invito a ver esta película llena de suspenso, terror y drama.
