Hoy, como ya vieron en el título de la publicación, quiero hablarles un poco de una película que acabo de ver, la cual tenía mucho tiempo pendiente de ella, ya que nunca había podido terminarlo. Hoy por fin la terminé y tengo muchas ganas de hablarles de ella. Sin más, Hoy hablaremos de Kiki, una película de estudios ghibli de la cual esperaba ciertas cosas, y me dio otras, pero, ¿para mal o bien?

Today, as you saw in the title of the post, I want to talk to you a little bit about a movie I just saw, which I had a long time waiting for it, since I had never been able to finish it. Today I finally finished it and I really want to tell you about it. Without further ado, today we will talk about Kiki, a movie from ghibli studios of which I expected certain things, and it gave me others, but, for better or for worse?

En un pueblo de brujas muy lejano a más ciudades, conocemos a Kiki. Esta es una pequeña brujita preadolescente la cual tiene un gato negro que se llama jiji, y es su mejor amigo. In a village of witches far away from more cities, we meet Kiki. This is a little preteen witch who has a black cat named jiji, and he is her best friend. In this place, in order for a crude to be ready, she must go on a few small trips to the cities, to learn and work on certain things alongside the citizens. Kiki one day, without warning, speaks that she feels ready to make this trip, and her parents, supporting her in everything, wish her the best, give her a perfect outfit, and let her go on her trip, where she will learn, nourish herself, and become a burda together with her cat jiji.

This is how she arrives in a rather small town, where there hasn't been a witch for many years. This puts a lot of burden on Kiki, as she knows she must do very well. To cut a long story short, Kiki starts to work doing different errands for the town, from a bakery, where her ability to fly helps her tremendously.
Kiki pasa diferentes situaciones, hasta horribles momentos donde pierde su magia, pero para conocer cada cosa que aquí pasa, recomiendo mucho ver la película.
Kiki goes through different situations, even horrible moments where she loses her magic, but to know everything that happens here, I highly recommend watching the movie.
Mi opinión
Tengo varios sentimientos encontrados con esta película, por más raro que suene. La película, la verdad, es que me parece increíble. La animación y su estilo son simplemente hermosos, como todas las películas de estudios ghibli, pero la verdad yo tengo un gran conflicto que contaré al final. De momento me gustaría hablarles de otras cosas.
I have several mixed feelings about this movie, as strange as it may sound. The movie, the truth is that I think it's amazing. The animation and its style are simply beautiful, like all ghibli studio movies, but the truth is that I have a big conflict that I will tell you about at the end. For now I would like to tell you about other things.
La banda sonora es simplemente una maravilla. Hace tiempo no veía una banda sonora, la única excepción a esto sería la de la sociedad de los poetas muertos, pero de resto esa me encantó, me enamoró, y me puso a escucharla muy de cerca con mucha emoción.
The soundtrack is simply a marvel. I haven't seen a soundtrack in a long time, the only exception to this would be the one for Dead Poets Society, but otherwise I loved it, I fell in love with it, and it made me listen to it very closely with a lot of emotion.
Algo que debo decir que me gustó bastante en la película, fue la casa en medio del bosque de la chica que Kiki conoció. Me dio muchas vibras a la cabaña del misterio de gravity falls, y la verdad me gustó bastante toda la estética de la misma. Me encantó el momento donde Kiki recién conoce esta casa. En ese momento, la luz es perfecta, la vibra es perfecta, y la chica pintando aves se ve simplemente muy bonita. Aunque parezca algo insignificante, me gustó bastante este detalle por alguna razón.
Something that I must say that I liked a lot in the movie, was the house in the middle of the forest of the girl that Kiki met. It gave me a lot of gravity falls mystery cabin vibes, and I really liked the whole aesthetic of it. I loved the moment where Kiki first meets this house. In that moment, the light is perfect, the vibe is perfect, and the girl painting birds looks simply very pretty. Even though it seems kind of insignificant, I quite liked this detail for some reason.
Ahora, quiero hablar del detalle que no me gustó. Al final de la película, cuando sale el accidente del globo, Kiki logra salvar al chico que iba a caer de aquí, el cual era su amigo, pero simplemente no entiendo esta parte!!! No le vi colectividad con el resto de la pelicula, y siento que fue un final muy apurado y sin una buena base por detrás. Mientras la veía, ya que la estaba viendo con una amiga, esta me dijo "parece que a los guionistas les dio flojera seguir, y decidieron hacer un final todo apurado", ¡y esto parece ser verdad! Teniendo el gran presupuesto que tenían, y toda la película que tenían encima, pudieron hacer un mejor final, más completo y con una buena base. Tal vez soy solo yo a la que no le gusta, pero bueno, opiniones diferentes.
Now, I want to talk about the detail that I didn't like. At the end of the movie, when the balloon accident happens, Kiki manages to save the boy who was going to fall from here, who was her friend, but I just don't understand this part!!!! I didn't see collectivity with the rest of the movie, and I feel it was a very rushed ending without a good background behind it. While I was watching it, as I was watching it with a friend, she told me "it seems that the screenwriters got lazy to continue, and decided to make a rushed ending", and this seems to be true! Having the big budget they had, and all the movie they had on top of it, they could have made a better ending, more complete and with a good base. Maybe it's just me who doesn't like it, but hey, different opinions.
Otra cosa que me pareció linda es que tombo, el amigo de Kiki, lograra construir su bicicleta voladora, la cual podemos ver en los créditos, demostrándonos así que algún día será un gran ingeniero aeronáutico, y dándonos este sabor de un buen final.
Another thing that I thought was nice is that Tombo, Kiki's friend, managed to build his flying bicycle, which we can see in the credits, showing us that someday he will be a great aeronautical engineer, and giving us this taste of a good ending.
La película no creo que pueda entrar en el top de mis favoritas de los estudios ghibli, ya que esta productora tiene reales obras de arte increíbles, pero la verdad no creo que esta vaya a entrar en mis favoritas. De igual manera, sé apreciar que es buena, y siempre habrá su gente que le guste más que otras. El dibujo de esta película es hermoso y digno de admirar, mucho talento! Le doy un buen 7/10
I don't think the movie can make it into the top of my favorites from ghibli studios, as this production company has some real amazing works of art, but I really don't think this one is going to make it into my favorites. Still, I can appreciate that it's good, and there will always be people who like it more than others. The artwork in this movie is beautiful and to be admired, so much talent! I give it a good 7/10
