This series i recommend is based on Japanese manga and offers a similar action and supernatural experience. It is one of the best Japanese series that i have had the opportunity to watch so far.

The characters are well developed and interesting and the story is engaging. Unfortunately, at the moment there is only one season consisting of 5 episodes ~ I hope there will be continuity in the near future.

The story centers on Yusuke Urameshi, a rebellious teenager who dies in an accident while trying to save a child. He is brought back to life by Koenma, son of King Enma, ruler of the World Spirit. Koenma offers Yusuke a chance to be reborn as an investigative spirit if he will solve supernatural crime cases.

Apparently, the series is a faithful adaptation of the comic, keeping the original story, characters and action. The production is of high quality with impressive special effects and an excellent cast. Just look at one of the scenes that i really enjoyed.

If you are looking for an exciting action series, Yu Yu Hakusho is an excellent choice ~ you will be delighted with this faithful adaptation.

One of the most successful aspects of the film is the way it manages to create an atmosphere of suspense and mystery. The yokai in the film are scary and dangerous, and the dark atmosphere of the haunted house helps to create a sense of dread and unease.

One important aspect that i liked about this series the most is the action. The fight scenes are well choreographed and full of energy. The film does not shy away from being violent, but the violence is always used in a balanced and purposeful manner. The action is well done, the special effects are impressive, and the characters are true to the originals.

At a first Google search i discovered that - Yokai are spirits or supernatural creatures that can be considered good or evil. They are often associated with natural phenomena or specific places. For example, there are supposed to be yokai that are associated with forests, rivers, or mountains.
