Donnie Yen: A master of martial arts and cinematography.

Donnie Yen is one of the most famous and acclaimed martial arts actors in the world. Born in Guangzhou, China in 1963, Yen began practicing kung fu at an early age. He studied several styles of martial arts including Wing Chun, Tai Chi Chuan and Wushu.
Yen began his career in the film industry in the 1980s, appearing in several Hollywood and Hong Kong action films. He became known for his fluid and agile fighting style, as well as his ability to perform dangerous stunts. Yen used his martial arts skills in numerous films where he performed numerous stunts himself.
Some of Yen's best known films include:
- Once Upon a Time in China and America (1997)
A historical action film in which Yen plays a young Chinese hero who fights against villains.
- Hero (2002)
An epic action film in which Yen plays an assassin who must choose between loyalty and love.
Ip Man (2008)
A biographical film about the Wing Chun master, Ip Man.
S.P.L.(2005)
One of The best scene from this action film about a Chinese policeman who must confront a criminal organization.
Flashpoint (2007)
An action film about a Chinese policeman who must stop a group of terrorists.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)
A science fiction action film in which Yen plays a rebel fighter.
Simply because of these cinematic creations, Yen has won numerous awards for his work, including the Best Actor award at the Hong Kong International Film Festival for his role in Ip Man.
His films are exciting and full of action, and he is a true example for martial art fans around the world. Yep, i recommend watching all the movies in which this master of martial arts played them with all his passion.
In general, if i were to make a list of the most favorite films in which Donnie Yen is present, i would choose without thinking too much ~ the Ip Man series. It is an incredible story about a martial art master who must face a series of powerful opponents. The fight between Ip Man and Bruce Lee is one of the most epic in martial arts movie history.
But, priority would have the artistic creation Kung Fu Jungle (2014) ~ from my point of view, it is one of the most successful films of Donnie Yen.
In Kung Fu Jungle, Yen plays Detective Lui Qiu, a tough and determined cop who is ready to do anything to complete his mission. Yen's performance is one of the best of his career, and he is one of the main reasons why Kung Fu Jungle is such a successful film.
Kung Fu Jungle has an engaging story that combines elements of action, mystery and drama. Yep, with intense and realistic action, the fight scenes in Kung Fu Jungle are incredibly intense and much more realistic than the other artistic creations ~ it's a martial arts movie worth seeing for all fans of the genre.

Definitely going to have to say that all of the martial arts in the John wick franchise absolutely is my favorite. They branched out from punching and kicking to Filipino martial arts as well as Indonesian silat. Loved those!

The series played by Keanu Reeves in John Wick are totally different, incomparable to what Donnie Yen can do. As actors both are good, they play their roles well in their films but as a sports talent Donnie Yen has a valuable asset. !PGM !WEED !MEME !LOOLZ

I honestly haven't seen John Wick 4 because i thought it would be the usual cliché. However, just taking a look at the trailer of the last movie, i noticed that Donnie Yen and others have a role in that continuity of the JW series.
