The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call (Review) | Not All Heroes Wear Capes.
Netflix really open my eyes to a different aspect of Medicine yesterday, I knew there are surgeons but didn't know there are some surgeons called Trauma Surgeons, I was kind of bored yesterday and just decided to port to Kdrama movie since I was tired of hollywood movie, I do see limit series movies on netflix but I do skip them thinking this kind of series are the yet to be complete movie and I don't like suspense but I was wrong after searching limited series meaning on google 😂😂, well limited series means series they completed in just 1 season, it might end in suspense but it will be just 1 season and might be short. After all that I decided to Opt for Trauma Code because it is one of the Medical based movie.

I think we still have a lot to learn in this part of my country because I don't think we have enough surgeons talkless of trauma surgeons, most don't even know what they do and that was what increased my curiosity, I just want to know what they actually do, their function in the hospital. This particular movie was based on a man named Dr. Baek-Gang hyeok who is a top trauma surgeon but wasn't based in south korea since he always movie around for work purpose, he served in war based countries and according to him, if you are a truma doctor/surgeon you have to be at alert 24 hours/365 days which means there is no rest for them. On the other hand, there is this top hospital in South Korean who once had a trauma doctor and department but somehow he wasn't available anymore so with the backing of the a presidential candidate ( like say top senator), they had to move this guy to this particular hospital to work. He was the real definition of No Peace for the wicked.
There are some set of corrupt doctors in this hospital who have no care for human's life or their patient, their own is to receive patients, not care for them till they die so that their monthly net-profit can keep increasing and they will keep cashing out, but this guy put them on the run. He was really gifted, his main work is to provide emergency surgeries to patient having life-threatening injuries or medical conditions, everyone was surprised to how he perform surgeries successfully and at a limited time plus when he arrived, the mortality rate reduced a lot and that made the other doctors to hate him, he didn't care about the hospital or money, if there is any critical accident that could claim life, he is ready to fly the available helicopter to the location, he did this countless times and the department end up owning lot of debts but no one die under his watch.

Things change a little when one of the Surgeon daughter had a fetal accident which rupture her heart and he was able to save her even after the surgeon had no fate in him, that change him completely and he started supporting him even though he was once an antagonist, The first time Dr. Baek had a setback was when some fell and had a critical head injury, he wasn't allow to use the chopper at that moment and he had to drive down and the case worsen, he had to perform a skull opening operation twice in the vehicle before reaching the hospital and at the end the boy entered coma, they almost blame him but he was able to change the whole scenario. His last work that almost made me cry a little was when he had to travel down to sudan with his 4 worker to save a military captain who was short multiple times, yet to enough medical equipment or blood available, but he later found a way to save the captain. As a medical student or someone who love medical based movie, this is a good watch and people who enjoy the movie rate it 4.5/5, I will even rate it 5/5 with the hope that maybe they will bring more episodes, like they use to say, Not all heroes wear capes.
At some point, I hope we had something like this in my country, especially if the leaders can focus on building the health care system to standard, with a good surgeon like this and with the one we might have here, the mortality rate will surely reduce.

This is the second time I came across reading reviews of this show. It must be that good.
I have seen the trailer and ratings; I'm sure it's a good one; it's on my watch list, too.
These health movies have my heart now. I’ve been binging the good doctor for a while now and it just makes me happy seeing people do their jobs because they want to help others.
I’ve seen doctors who don’t even know what they are about and the don’t even care when their patients die because they are not being held accountable in our part of the world
