Brotherhood | The War Between Twin Brothers

Seeing this prompt had me thinking about what I will be posting today, talking about a recent movie or series almost off me because I have watch lot of amazing movies from different genres, americas, india, chinese even our very own nolloywood based movies because they are really trying with their recent productions and they really wow most of us, scattering our bubbles with amazing ghetto based movies with lot of lessons attached to it, after lot of deliberation, I decided to talk about Brotherhood a Nollywood based action movie

What actually draw my attention to this movies was the advertisement, the marketing techniques was really a good one, anywhere I visit online to watch other movies especially on youtube, I will always see brotherhood movie advertisement even before it came out, the trailer was really amazing and it make the movie look more interesting and I was really curios, I had to first search my hdo app but it wasn't there and I couldn't visit the cinema to watch one so I waited till someone upload the file one of the movie based telegram channel I join just to download it.

The movie was based on two twin brother who lost their parent at a very young age and had to stay with their aunty and while growing up somehow they never really like each other or were in good terms with each other due to the behaviour and life path each of them choose, while one (Wale) was finding ways to make his life better through legal means by joining the task force team, the other (Akin)turn to a criminal and was moving to and fro in prison after commit lot of crimes, the day he came back from prison was the day Wale got promote to the swat team which even make it more difficult for them to agree on things, I kind of love the way they refer to each other, Akin always call his brother "Olopa" meaning Police, while Wale call him "Odaran" meaning criminal

Thing became worse, when Akin even though he was way intelligent decide to join the Ojuju Boys who were the most feared armed robbery gang and also the game his brother was making research about so he can bring them to justice. Things were really going well with both of them until Wale decided to wed and Akin showed up with his robbery gang uninvited to start sparing their illegal money which triggered Wale to start suspecting them because he didn't know where his brother got the money from and the interesting part was that they stop doing all the small robberies they do engage in before and started attacking bullion vans just to steal more moneys.

The day they met their waterloo is when they decide to rob a bank even though Akin wasn't in support of the idea but his friend from the gang was too greedy and have his own selfish hidden plan, after much deliberation, Akin decided to join and they mapped out a big plan and also an escaped plan incase everything turned sour. Well it really turned sour and the swat team was informed of the operation, and they caught them on the third mainland bridge while trying to escaped, It was really a bloody moment when one member with hidden plans betray them all, shot their leader and ran away with the money using the only boat available, Akin and his babe were in a thigh corner and decided to escaped using a bike but his babe got killed along the way and he was shot too, and he fell into the lagoon while the police keep shooting him in the river but did he survive, what happened to the money and the other robber, Check out the movie on netflix to get your answers
