Story Plot- The storyline revolves around a successful MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) wrestler named Yong-hu (played by Park Seo-Joon) who resented God and the things of God after he lost his devoted and loyal father, during childhood.

Yong-hu grew up with so much fame but he suffered emotional scars, and struggled with his faith. He never believed in God until his life took a supernatural turn…..He developed stigmata on his palm.

He went from place to place seeking solutions for his stigmata. Everything he did to heal his palm was all in vain, until he met Father Ahn(played by Ahn Sung-Ki).
Father Ahn was an exorcist and over time Yong-hoo became entangled in the battle against demons. Initially, Yong-hu wanted nothing to do with such battles, but as he became closer to Father Ahn, after he provided relief for his stigmata, he found himself involved.

Yong-hu found himself helping Father Ahn in his exorcist battle and Father Ahn who recognized the wound on Yong-hu’s palm as a divine sign, helped him rediscover his faith and taught him how to use the stigmata as a weapon to battle evil forces.
Yong-hu and Father Ahn started working together to save souls and exorcise demons.

In their journey together, their paths collided with an affluent businessman/figure who worked undercover as a nefarious priest who used black magic to initiate people into cults(many of whom later met tragic ends)and summon demons. Ji-Shin (played by Woo Do-Hwan)was the evil priest and the antagonist in this movie.
He took it upon himself to eliminate Yong-hu and Father Ahn as they always got in his way of carrying out his demonic activities.

There was a battle between evil and good and in the process Father Ahn became gravely ill, leaving Yong-hu to fight the evil forces and Ji-shin alone.

How will the battle end? Who will win, Yong-hu or Ji-shin?

I’m always drawn to horror genre regardless of how fearful it is. This movie is recommended for
*fans of dark-themed supernatural dramas with emotional depth
*fans of lead actors Park Seo-Joon and Woo Do-Hwan.

Asides the fact that I’m an ardent fan of Woo Do-Hwan, i think it’s an interesting movie but i still think the end of 'The Divine Fury' isn’t the final chapter.

I’ll give it a fair enough rating of 7/10.

You can watch it on Loklok.

Thank you very much for your continuous support 🙏
