Ahn Bo-hyun, who starred as Do bae-man, grew up to be a lawyer after his parents who were military prosecutors, died in a ghastly motor accident. He was raised by his aunt.
Do bae-man joined the military as a prosecutor solely for financial gain after being jobless for so long. He worked with the higher-ups, covering their dirty schemes in exchange for large sums of money and couldn’t care less about justice. He planned to leave the military after procuring so much wealth for himself, but things changed course when he met Jo Bo-ah, who starred as Cha Woo-in.

Cha Woo-in was from a wealthy chaebol family, she became a military prosecutor and learnt martial arts solely to avenge the unjust death of her father. Woo-in’s father owned a company but was killed after people with higher authority found out he wanted to expose them and their corrupt deeds.
Woo-in worked secretly to expose corruption and avenge her father's death, she was a fearless and determined heiress who opened the eyes of Do bae-man to see that the higher-ups he worked for were the same people who murdered his parents and staged it like it was just an accident.

With this new revelation, Do bae-man and Woo-in teamed up and stood up to corruption, the corrupt leaders, and sought revenge. Do bae-man then extended his stay as a military prosecutor so he could seek justice.

These corrupt leaders eventually found out what Woo-in and Do bae-man were scheming and tried to sabotage their plans at all costs.

Noh Hwa-Young was a major general in the military and was all about fairness and uprightness. She dined with men of high caliber but Do bae-man and Woo-in held deep suspicions that she was the mastermind behind all the corrupt deeds.

How true is this? Was Noh Hwa-young really the master mind? Or was she(unknowing to her) a pawn in a larger game?

This drama is a wonderful series comprising of 16 episodes conveying the story of political corruption within the military and revenge.

Ratings:

Ahn is one of my top five favorite Korean actors, i watched this series when I knew he was going to feature in it and he didn't disappoint.

Not a fan of Jo Bo-ah but she delivered a praiseworthy performance as Cha Woo-in

The romance subplot was underdeveloped as the focus was exclusively on revenge, however, the action in this drama will sweep you off your feet. So, if you’re one who loves action series involving military politics then this is a must-watch.

It’s available to watch on Netflix or on Loklok for free. I’ll give it a rating of 8.5/10.
