Usually South Korea is very famous for its dramas and Kpop, but their films are still less popular. But it doesn't matter because every person has their own taste in watching films.
This time I want to review a film starring many top actors which makes this film expensive and very worth watching. This film is entitled EMERGENCY DECLARATION.
This film succeeded in giving the audience an adrenaline rush, because the tension that occurred on the plane made the audience anxious because there was nowhere to run. All you have to do is hope and surrender to the situation. This is able to make viewers who are afraid of boarding planes become even more paranoid and afraid.
SYNOPSIS OF EMERGENCY DECLARATION
This Emergency Declaration tells the story of terror on a plane headed from South Korea to Hawaii, America. Terror, a deadly virus that makes the atmosphere on the plane very tense and very scary. While in the air, a terrorist started spreading the virus and infected the passengers one by one, causing the situation to become an emergency.
SMART SCIENCE BUT MISLEADING
It starts with a scientist named Ryu Jin Seok, played by Im Siwan, who feels frustrated because he has lost his mother, leaving him with no purpose in life. Ryu Jin Seok is a scientist who researches a virus at the company where he works. When Ryu Jin Seok researched the mutation virus with his other co-workers, the virus spread and infected his co-workers except Ryu Jin Seok, and that resulted in him being fired dishonorably.
Feeling frustrated, Ryu Jin Seok thought about committing terror and wanted to die together with other people by ordering plane tickets with a large number of passengers. Until finally he chose Hawaii as his destination.
TENSION FROM BEGINNING TO END
This film really makes the audience hold their breath because the tension presented does not stop. Many times stressful things happen. Because this film is made to look real, it makes the audience feel like they are on the plane. I even had to hold my hands because of the tension.
THE TERROR BEGINS
Everything looked fine when all passengers entered the plane and sat in their seats. But that didn't last long because when the plane flew and stabilized, Ryu Jin Sok started his action. He went into the toilet cubicle to sprinkle the virus powder he had prepared. He sprinkled every corner of the toilet so that the toilet was full of the virus powder.
Not long after, a passenger went into the toilet and realized there was a strange powder and reported it to the flight attendant. A few minutes later, the passenger started coughing and itching all over his body, who would have thought that this powder which was considered ordinary would actually kill him quickly.
RYU JIN SOK'S TERROR REVEALED
On the other hand, on the ground, a detective named In Ho is investigating reports of a strange man threatening to terrorize planes. At first the detective thought it was just a joke, until finally he found a corpse in Ryu Jin Sok's rotting house. After investigation, it turned out that the body had died due to a virus. This also made him panic because his wife was on holiday by plane at the same time.
Detective In Ho also asked airport officials to check whether there was Ryu Jin Sok on one of the planes. In various ways, Ryu Jin Sok was finally found on one of the planes to Hawaii where his wife was. This makes Detective In Ho lose control and use various methods to save his wife.
ALL PASSENGERS PANIC
After the death of one passenger, all the other passengers panicked and tried to antagonize each other. Moreover, when Ryu Jin Sok was revealed and caused a commotion by sprinkling all the powder he had throughout the cabin, it made the passengers very frustrated because they couldn't go anywhere other than staying on the plane.
Pilot Hyun So also tried to interrogate Ryu Jin Sok about the reasons why he did this. The surprising thing is that Ryu Jin Sok only did this because he wanted all the passengers to die. This made Hyun So angry and hit Ryu Jin Sok. At the same time, it turned out that the Co Pilot had been infected and died in a matter of minutes, as did Ryu Jin Sok. Because no one was driving, the plane became uncontrollable and made the atmosphere inside the plane even more tense.
THE LEGEND OF THE FORMER PILOT
After one of the pilots died, now there is only one pilot in charge of the plane. However, he was lucky because it turned out that one of the passengers was a senior pilot who had become a legend because he had saved all the passengers when an accident occurred. However, he chose to stop because he was traumatized and felt guilty because a flight attendant died in the accident.
In this very scary position, Jae Hyuk, the former pilot, was able to help Hyun So in controlling the plane, because without realizing it, Hyun So had also been infected with the virus.
LOOKING FOR A VACCINE
Because of this terror, the plane was not allowed to land in the destination country and was asked to return to its country of origin, namely Korea. Detectives and the government are trying to find a solution to this incident. Detective In Ho also investigated Ryu Jin Sok's entire life but no one gave him any information, until finally an unknown person told him that the virus had a vaccine, and had been tested by Ryu Jin Sok when he was working.
Hearing this, In Ho immediately went to the company where Ryu Jin Sok worked, but was repeatedly rejected because he felt that Ryu Jin Sok was no longer an employee. This makes In Ho frustrated and asks the government for help so he can investigate the company.
After everything was done and the vaccine was in hand, something undesirable happened. The vaccine cannot actually cure because the levels are unknown. This made it unacceptable for planes to land and even some Koreans refused them, this made the planes keep flying in circles in the air.
The refusal made by the Korean citizens themselves was heard by the passengers and made them choose not to land and let themselves die together in the air, they did this because they were afraid that if they landed it would infect their families.
SACRIFICE OF A DETECTIVE
Hearing this, detective In Ho felt frustrated and asked the doctors and scientists to inject the virus into his body and try the vaccine, if it was successful the plane would have to land. It was a terrible sight, where detective In Ho's body was covered in blood due to the effects of the virus.
After several hours passed, the vaccine finally showed its effect and made detective In Ho conscious and little by little he got better. This was immediately conveyed to the pilot to land immediately because the vaccine was functioning well.
This was extraordinary news that made the passengers happy. But that wasn't the end of this terror, what happened next was that the plane ran out of fuel and made the pilot rack his brains so he could land well.
DRAMATIC LANDING
After the vaccine was found, the pilot was asked to immediately land at Seoul airport, but because there was not enough fuel he chose another airport that was closer. With his skill, the pilot used all his strength to be able to land the plane which was low on fuel by turning off the engine and letting it fly without the engine until it approached the airport. After approaching, the pilot immediately started the engine and regained control of the plane with the remaining fuel.
It cannot be denied that landing is very tense because the speed of the plane is racing with the remaining fuel. With all his efforts, the plane finally landed well and all the remaining passengers were safe.
That's a review of the film Emergency Declaration, a film that makes the entire audience tense as if they were on the plane.

I saw this movie some time ago and liked it, I don't remember how much I rated it but the value was high. I liked it a lot despite the details. Regards.
