Although I'm not a huge fan of Elvis, I love stories about music and how different celebrities got their start.
I agree, I'm always intrigued when I find a documentary about a famous person, whether I liked them or not.. Often the stories are quite sad though.
Funny to read his manager was Dutch from origin, I am too, never heard that story but Elvis was a bit before my time anyway, so it's not that weird that I never heard that before.
He was a cash cow to a lot of people towards the end of his career though.
This doesn't surprise me anymore knowing what I know today about how a lot of things in the world actually work, rather than how we're presented how it's done. We all seem to fall for this shit with open eyes while a puppet show is played for us.
I skipped the final part for spoilers because you convinced me to watch it. Thanks for sharing!
