This is in memory of David Lynch, who inspired me numerous times, ever since I had watched his film 'Eraserhead' when it first came out. It was shown at my Alma Mater in Canada before it hit the theaters.
David Lynch passed away January 15th 2025
Subsequently, I created a number of images on Nightcafe AI, in this collection: DAVID LYNCH TRIBUTE which will be the subject of another post in future.

Although David Lynch's 1984 Dune is seen as a campier, cult-classic take on Frank Herbert's classic novel, a few of the movie's details are actually more book-accurate than those found in Denis Villeneuve's Dune: Part Two. While Dune 2 is an all-time sci-fi masterpiece, Villeneuve's follow-up to his 2021 blockbuster definitely takes some liberties with the source material. quote source
