Movie review: The Forbidden Kingdom

This martial arts movie starts with a dream.

As you watch, you get the impression that there is very little connection to reality.

The Forbidden Kingdom itself is not of this world.

It is somewhere high in the mountains.

The mission of the hero is to get there and bring the Monkey King back to life.

There is plenty of action.

The key message of the film is to be able to find your way in life, even if you don’t know it.

Your path will rarely be clear for you to see.

You won’t know where you are heading to, how to get there, and what is the purpose and meaning of getting there.

This is where different people will come to you.

Some of them will be your friends, and some other will be your enemies.

It’s up to you to discover their real identities and intentions.

If you don’t have this skill, you will end up harming someone who is actually your friend.

Your enemies will be disguised as friends, looking for the right opportunity to catch you unguarded and destroy you.

It is a battle for survival, and it is not a joke.

Watching such a film from the comfort of your sofa is a good way to spend a couple of hours, because the fast movements and acrobatics of the actors are great entertainment.

The plot may seem to take place in the clouds of the imaginary, but it resembles real-life situations where you have to make decisions that are not easy to make and will determine your future.
