[NEWS] Marvel Cinematic Universe is in danger!

With the announcement of actor Jonathan Majors' farewell by Marvel Studios, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is in extreme danger after losing the main villain of its current saga, leaving with this, a huge void for both the mutiversal plot of its films and series. What does all this really imply for the company and the fans? Let's dig a little deeper.

First of all, the actor who plays Kang The Conqueror in the MCU, Jonathan Majors, after a lengthy trial has been found guilty of assault and harrasment, which has led to his dismissal by the studio. Majors made his Marvel debut in the first season of Loki, then in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and then again in the Loki series, playing a character that inspires fear on sight.

Kang was to be the main villain of the multiverse saga, appearing in multiple Marvel series and movie projects, playing different versions of himself. This new saga was going to have even more potential than the Infinity Saga, but, it looks like we fans will be left with a lot to look forward to.

There is no denying that Jonathan has played a huge role in his character with a performance on the scale of Robert Downety Jr., Chris Evans and Scarlett Johanson, and, I can say, Jonathan Majors is Kang. Sadly, we will no longer be able to enjoy his participation, regardless of the actor's credited roles.

How would Marvel fix this whole "multiversal" problem after all that has happened? First of all, it has been thought to replace the actor with others like John Boyega or even Denzel Washington, the latter playing an older version of Kang, but nothing is confirmed yet. Fans think that Lashana Lynch would be the official candidate chosen by Marvel Studios to play a female version of the same character at the end of the saga, but without a major role, even as an ally.

Suddenly, the film called Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is renamed Avengers 5 and it is confirmed that Avengers: Secret Wars will be divided into two parts, one with the original Avengers and another with characters from other universes such as Spider-man, Hulk, Blade, Wolverine, Deadpool and Daredevil.

Marvel did get ahead of all this and changed the cards a bit, creating a double-edged environmental shift that ends Kang's empire easily in the Loki series with its second season. If you haven't seen it I recommend you simply do so. Also, we have the third and final installment of Deadpool which will come as a film that will have the opportunity and the green light to fix and change whatever it wants, so Marvel does have a way to deal with this problem after all.

Personally I would have liked to have seen more of Kang, and to see one of the most dangerous villains from the comic-books take on a group on his level on the big screen. I think a new villain will replace Kang and not for an actor, I'm thinking Doctor Doom with Cillian Murphy, what do you think? Which actor or villain do you think would be the best fit for the role considering all this?
