In this version, many things change, such as socially and geographically, in order to introduce itself on a more developed and inclusive era. Halle Bailey is Ariel, literally, with nothing to envy to her animated version, first of all because of her shimmering and very similar voice that we are so used to hearing, followed by her charisma and excellent interpretation of the character. Many people didn't like the fact that a young, Afro-descendant actress gave life to the little mermaid of our childhood, precisely because she does not follow the line of its origin. Let's be clear that an animated adaptation should by no means be exactly the same in all aspects as a live-action version, since both can be adapted in different times and with the intention of capturing different audiences.

Jackson), Kingpin (Michael Clarke Duncan), Elektra (Jennifer Garner) and we can go on and on mentioning names of unfaithful adaptations. We live in a world full of people of different ethnicities, customs and religions which forces production companies like Disney to perform beyond their predictions.

Jackson), Kingpin (Michael Clarke Duncan), Elektra (Jennifer Garner) y podemos seguir mencionando nombres sin parar de adaptaciones infieles. Vivimos en un mundo lleno de personas de diferentes etnias, costumbres y religiones el cual obliga a productoras como Disney a desenvolverse más allá de sus predicciones.
Bailey is joined in this fantastic feature film by actors Jonah Hauer-King, Simone Ashley, Noma Dumezweni, Art Malik, Simu Liu, Lorena Andrea, Martina Laird, Sienna King, Jessica Alexander and Javier Bardem as King Triton.

The Little Mermaid is reminiscent of the 2018 reboot of The Lion King, where they prioritised making the animals look and behave like real animals. The same happens here, where we see a Flounder (Jacob Tremblay), Sebastian (Daveed Diggs) and Scuttle (Awkwafina) exactly following their biological prototype. The voices, at least in English, of these characters fit perfectly with their scaled-down animation, with tremendous graphics and immersive scenes both on land and in water, argued with special CGI for each character.
The Little Mermaid nos recuerda al reboot de The Lion King de 2018 donde priorizaron de que los animales tuvieran apariencia real y se comportaran como tal. Lo mismo pasa aquí, donde vemos a un Flounder (Jacob Tremblay), Sebastian (Daveed Diggs) y Scuttle (Awkwafina) exactamente siguiendo su prototipo biológico. Las voces, al menos en idioma inglés, de estos personajes encaja a la perfección con su animación hecha a escala, con gráficos tremendos y con escenas envolventes tanto en tierra como en agua, argumentada con un CGI especial para cada personaje.
Melissa McCarthy in the role of Ursula is our main antagonist, who thanks to her strong resemblance in voice and physique manages to connect with the animated film version of the character. In addition, as if that were not enough, she gives us a variant of the little mermaid near the end of the film.
Melissa McCarthy en el papel de Ursula es nuestra antagonista principal, quien gracias a su gran parecido en voz y físico logra conectar con la versión del personaje de la peli animada. Además, por si fuera poco, nos brinda una variante de la sirenita casi al final de la cinta.
The events take place in Cuban lands in the 1800s, confirmed in the film itself by dropping the map of the region, as an easter egg. This justifies the "forced" inclusion of all the characters involved, their culture and the tropical style of the songs included in it. I think that with this intention, they give us, the spectators and fans of the saga, one more reason to watch it and remember it.
Los hechos se remontan en tierras cubanas en la época de 1800, confirmado en la propia película dejando caer el mapa donde se desarrolla, como un easter egg. Esto, justifica la inclusión “forzada” de todos los personajes que participan, su cultura y el estilo tropical de las canciones que se incluyen en ella. Creo que con esta intención, nos dan a los espectadores y fans de la saga un motivo más para verla y recordarla.
A fantastic musical, it contains a repertoire of songs that will remind many of us of our childhood, composed by a tasty rhythm of mambo, blues, opera and rap in indistinct scenes. Sebastian, Scuttle, Flounder and Ariel herself take their place in the singing moments, bringing joy to the big screen with their voices.
Constituida como un musical fantástico, contiene un repertorio de canciones que a muchos nos recordarán nuestra infancia, compuestas por un ritmo sabroso de mambo, blues, ópera y rap en indistintas escenas. Sebastián, Scuttle, Flounder y la mismísima Ariel se posicionan ellos mismos en los momentos de canto alegrando la pantalla grande con sus voces.
To enjoy, sing, dance and laugh, this film has arrived in cinemas and now in digital format available in the Disney+ catalogue. I see a lot of potential for a sequel as the production team has shown interest in releasing second parts to their most popular films, I doubt this one will be far behind. Have you seen it yet? Yo creo que el título debería ser por qué no deberías ver esta película nunca en tu vida ya que en mi opinión es la ruina de lo clásico y aunque me pagaran por verla realmente no lo aceptaría 🤣🤣🤣

He leido varias reseñas del remake, lo mas destacable que mencionaban era la forma de cantar de la nueava ariel. No me llamó la atención nunca verla. Con eso contesto tu pregunta de seria; aunque existe la posibilidad en algun momento.
