[ENG-ESP] The Creator (MOVIE REVIEW)

A war between the artificial intelligence and humans results in the loss of Captain Joshua's wife, who had infiltrated a base that served as a refuge for the robotic resistance in order to eliminate the androids forever. The human desire to extinguish their own evolving race leads the US military to drastically wipe out all Asian facilities still producing machines, realising that the source of their creation would be a young child.

John David Washington stars in this film alongside Gemma Chan, Allison Janney, Ken Watanabe, Benedict Wong, Pat Skelton and Ngo Thanh Van. David gives a spectacular performance with an altruistic approach that takes his character on a quest for the self-knowledge and overcoming the loss of his beloved.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, The Creator is a futuristic film that wraps up the story of the rise of self-aware machines from artificial intelligence with beginnings that date back to our current era. It makes us, as viewers, question where we are really headed with the advances in technology we face in this period.

Dirigida por Gareth Edwards, The Creator es una cinta futurista que envuelve la historia del surgimiento de las máquinas auto-conscientes a partir de la inteligencia artificial con inicios que se remontan a nuestra época actual. La misma, nos hace dudar como espectadores, a dónde nos dirigimos realmente con los avances de la tecnología que enfrentamos en este período.

The graphics and special effects are very well constructed and well cared for, in addition to the CGI and make-up of the characters; without a doubt, the use of green screens was more than necessary for the creation of the background ambience and landscapes of the film. Speaking of ambience, the soundtrack is led by sounds that mediate between suspense and drama, making the viewer more interested in the film in this way.

Los gráficos y efectos especiales están muy bien construidos y cuidados, además del CGI y el maquillaje de los personajes; sin duda, la utilización de pantallas verdes fue más que necesaria para la creación de la ambientación de fondo y los paisajes de la película. Hablando de ambientación, la banda sonora está liderada por sonidos que median entre el suspenso y el drama, haciendo que el espectador se interese más en la cinta de esta manera.

There is plenty of action, but also science and fiction, despite the drama, along with fights and battles that complement the story. In addition, it is divided into parts as if it were a book, which narrates different situations following the thread of the main plot. It can be said that there is no antagonist as such, but rather a group of independent sides with different views of society and the threats that threaten each other.

Abunda la acción, pero también la ciencia y la ficción, a pesar del drama, junto a peleas y batallas que complementan la historia. Además, está dividida por partes como si de un libro se tratase, que narra situaciones diferentes siguiendo el hilo de la trama principal. Se puede comentar que no existe como tal un antagonista, sino un grupo de bandos independientes con vistas diferentes de la sociedad y las amenazas que atentan entre ellas mismas.

The Creator is a spectacular and beautiful film that conveys a deep desire for freedom and feelings towards machines, touching the heart of anyone who watches it. I expected absolutely nothing and was very satisfied after watching it, haven't you seen it? I recommend it to you together with the score from one to ten according to my opinion about it.

The Creator es una cinta espectacular y bonita que transmite un profundo deseo de libertad y sentimientos hacia las máquinas, conmoviendo el corazón de cualquiera que la vea. No esperé absolutamente nada y quedé muy satisfecho después de verla. ¿No la has visto? Te la recomiendo junto a la nota del uno al diez según mi opinión acerca de ella.
