Movie Review: No Way Through

Talking about a movie that has a good storyline and a good movie composure, I have got this movie you will not want to miss watching. This movie is one of the best I have watched this time, and another thing is that it is not a 2024 movie but a 2023 movie. I actually didn't know this until I checked about the movie, and my thoughts were that it's a new movie done probably early this year. This movie has most of the ingredients a normal movie should have, and it is embellished with proper action and editing.

"No Way Through" is a gripping and a very attractive yet thrilling movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat while watching. It is the kind of movie that will fill you with a lot of suspense and interesting moments. The movie, from the beginning till the end, has these action vibes, which I believe most people find so attractive when we watch a movie. The movie talks about a group of people who got trapped in a desperate situation, and they have no way through, but they have to find a way through. Among them was Funke Akindele, and she has to fight for her only daughter so that she won't go to jail.

She got into business with the drug cartel in the city, which her daughter never knew of, but she must find her way, not allow her daughter to find out about the business she does, and also save her life. The cast in this movie made me so interested in watching because when you see this set of people in a movie, you know you should expect nothing less from it. The likes of
Funke Akindele as Jolade Okeniyi, Chidi Mokeme as Apostle, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha as Deaconess Rebecca, Ikechukwu Onunaku as Christian Ezechime, Roberta Orioma as Ejide and many more.

The movie was written and directed by the one and only Chinaza Onuzo. The movie has a great cinematic experience while it unfolds a lot of tension about what will go wrong in the next scene, and it keeps you calm and nervous not to miss the next thing coming. I think I actually knew the movie would be this interesting when I started, but the hope I had was that this person I saw in the movie was someone I expected so much from, and they didn't let me down. The movie is an impressive, to be precise, creating a lot of quality and value to it and making it very appealing to the audience.

Positives:

• It has a great and an advanced performance from the cast.
  It was done with full understanding.
• The cinematography is topnotch
• The most of it I love is the twist in the movie because you have to set it down and watch it.

Negatives:

• Some parts of the movie were not supposed to be displayed. They were not supposed to have added it for the sake of the young audience.

Overall, "No Way Through" is a must-watch movie for Nollywood movie lovers, and it is a movie done with full experience and a better knowledge of acting. Full of suspense, action and other qualities that a good movie must have. Although it has its flaws, it also has a good side. But trust me, if a movie has a good side more than the bad, then it has passed most of the criteria for a good movie. I am sure this movie will lighten up your mood after watching and keep you wondering what would have happened if one of the other things hadn't happened.
