Sonic the Hedgehog 2
"…A hero is one who takes responsibility for the people around him." These thought-provoking words from Sonic prompted me to question if I've ever been a hero.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is an adventurous comedy film that made thrills surge through my body for like a long time. The film and the sonic game share the same annoyance of Eggman whose mustache and relentless attacks make him a formidable adversary.
I don't know what makes him think that he's any match for Sonic who's not only a hero but also has a fine sense of humor. Despite my penchant for playing the villain in every story, I can't bring myself to support Dr Robotnik. His mustache is irksome and his relentless assaults while playing the game make being Sonic seem like a sick thing.
Released on the 30th of March, 2022 and Directed by Jeff Fowler, Sonic and Tails must do everything they can to find the Master Emerald and protect it from the evil claws of Dr Robotnik and Sonic's new rival who shares the same goal as Robotnik, Knuckles the Echidna.
While the Wachowski's were out for a friend's wedding party in Hawaii, Sonic was given a chance to grow up by staying home alone. Unfortunately, he's attacked by Dr Robotnik after he escapes the mushroom planet with the help of Knuckles.
Miles Tails, a two tailed fox who idolizes Sonic, sought for him to warn him about knuckles and Robotnik but before Tails could get to him, they had found him and beat his ass up. Tails helps him escape the house and he convinces Tails to help him find the Master Emerald before Robotnik and Knuckles did.
The fight between Sonic, knuckles and Robotnik had me on the edge of my seat. I genuinely feared for Sonic's safety after multiple knockouts by Robotnik. Was Sonic able to be the hero he was meant to be? Was he able to take responsibility for those around him? Was he able to beat Robotnik's ass one more time to retrieve the Master Emerald? The movie answers these questions in a gripping manner.
My rating:
The first part of Sonic was just as good, especially when Robotnik seemed to be banished from planet earth forever to a mushroom planet. Green hills seemed to be at peace again as Sonic took up a vigilante role even though he was very reckless at the job unknown to him that Robotnik was going to be back and not just him, a new rival from the echidna's tribe, Knuckles.
As for my rating, despite my burning desire to see Robotnik crushed completely to dust by Sonic which didn't happen, I give Sonic the Hedgehog 2 a solid 5. It was exciting, worth my time and kept me engaged throughout.
I watched the part one of this movie, and it is good, I hope part 2 is good too!
You bet! It gives the thrills. You should see it.😊
I’ll rate the first sonic more than the second maybe it’s because I found it a bit more entertaining. Heard the third part is already about to drop
Is it??
The release date for the third part is December of this year. I can't wait. Hehehe.
Me too
