Cine TV Contest #122: Favorite Movie with Drinking (Pitch Perfect)

Hey friends! :)
I decided to join @cinetv's CineTV Contest this week, too. The topic is about our favorite movie which involves drinking.

At first, I thought it should really involve or have drinking as the main theme, but it's not. So, I pick one of the movies I like that has some interesting drinking scenes. It's Pitch Perfect!

Pitch Perfect is about a rebel freshman at Barden University named Beca. She didn't really want to belong to any friend group, but she somehow ended up being surrounded by various types of women. Despite their differences, they have one thing in common... singing.

She became a member of the all-female a cappella group of their university, the Barden Bellas. The movie then focused on their group trying to win the International Collegiate A Cappella Championship.

What I love the most about this movie is their performances, not only the Barden Bellas' but also all the other performers. The song arrangements in a cappella are phenomenal. It's just amazing to listen to a lot of talented a cappella groups.

There are also a lot of interesting and crazy characters. I especially like Fat Amy. Her personality is really funny and I always find myself laughing when I see her crazy antics.

In addition, the characters are also very inspiring... especially Beca. Although at first she didn't seem to fit in, but instead of changing, she changed the things and people around her. She's also dedicated in trying to achieve her dreams and pursuing the kind of music she wants.

Now for the drinking scenes...

Since the setting of the movie is on a college campus, there ought to be a lot of drinking parties. One of the scenes that involved drinking was the Aca-initiation night.

I like this part because the new members of the a cappella groups were welcomed and had their initiation. After the group initiation, they all partied together with drinks and music.

In the second movie, there was also a pool party which also involved drinking and music... I remember there was also a party with drinks in the second movie where not only their university a cappella groups were involved, but also other rival teams from various countries.

The showdown they did during the party was so fun to watch!

I feel like watching Pitch Perfect again. :) It has been a while since I last watched it, but I do listen to some of the versions of the songs performed in the film. It was a movie full of fun, struggle, dreams, music, and human relationships.
