A Cute Paddington Through An Amazing Adventure In Peru
Greetings, My dear Hive Fellows.
Usually, I don’t watch too many movies nowadays, though I used to watch dozens of movies each week in middle school and during my university life in Bangladesh. Time most of the time I watched Indian movies most of the time including Hindi language movies and Tamil or Telegu movies with Hindi language dubbed. After entering my undergrad studies in University life. Most of the time, I love movies with epic stories, such as The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and many Sci-Fi movies. And then the superhero movies come with a completely different world of this unimaginable universe. Because of my busy schedule, I have stopped such insane movie-watching habits, but I often enjoy some movies when I find some interesting ones from the worldwide collection, and from Indian movies, I watch some movies acted by some of my favorite actors.
Last month, I surfed the internet and found out about the movie Paddington in Peru and the article about his amazing journey to find his family, Lucy. Paddington, the main character of the movie, is a cute and funny bear who makes the movie go forward. The whole story is about finding Lucy, as she was his life saviour at a very early age during an accidental event. This adventurous movie seems very interesting to me, and I made my plan to watch this movie. Luckily, this week, I have free time to watch this excellent movie, and here I am going to write my review by bypassing the spoilers as much as possible to write this review here. I hope you will like it and watch the movie with your family if you want to spend quality time with your family.
It will not be completed if I don’t talk about the Brown family, which is a typical British family who adopted Paddington from his early life. All the family members are unique characters, including Grandma Mrs. Bird, Judy and Jonathon as the Brown family siblings, and Mr. and Mrs. Brown as the major characters.
Then the later main Character of the Nun comes, who will have a different at the end of the movie with an interesting twist. The boatman Hunter Cabot and his daughter Gina are the main characters to make the movie a real story, with the destruction of their boat being a turning point in the movie.
Okay, after this character introduction, let's come to the storyline and the cinematography, which is really enjoyable. It is a completely serene movie to watch with family. Especially the children will love this movie with the main character, Paddington. This character makes you laugh from the very beginning of the movie. The innocence of this little and cute bear will refresh you every time you see him in the movie.
The Cinematic view of the beautiful country of Peru will also attract you with the green lush of the mountain forest of the movie. I really love the natural scenery of the movie. Most of the screen time is filled with the soothing color that will never let you move your sight anywhere else, as every scene will make you feel more comfortable. And I love such soothing and serene views throughout the movie.
Though the character of the boatman, Hunter Cabot, makes you feel uneasy with his mysterious appearance it fades out consequently in the next scene. All the funny moments with Paddington to Hunter will make you movie journey onto an unforgettable experience.
The whole movie will make you and your family enjoy everything that has no irritating scenes as many movies are having now with negative characters. The only little irritating character will be the character of the Nun with the disguise of a wicked character that will make you surprised until her character is revealed or you understand earlier.
The movie has a solid rating on Rottentomatoes with a rating of 04% from the Reviews and 91% from 500+ Verified Ratings. And in the IMDB, the rating is 6.8% which is also a decent rating.
Paddington returns to Peru to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now resides at the Home for Retired Bears. With the Brown family in tow, a thrilling adventure ensues when a mystery plunges them into an unexpected journey. The Director of the movie is Dougal Wilson, the writers are Mark BurtonJon and FosterJames Lamont, and the voiceover stars are Hugh Bonneville, Emily Mortimer, and Ben Whishaw.source
As I am not going to reveal the story or make a spoiler for you, I can say it is a cute story interesting, adventurous movie that will allow you to spend the movie time with excellent quality time. It is a movie for family time; the laughing and suspense will entertain you and your family throughout the movie.
The scene in the above screenshot is a great one where the ancestors of Hunter Cabot are forcing him to be a greedy person, which I found an interesting one as many people find such faults in some men from their genes, which is reflected so perfectly here.
I hope you will love the movie if you like an adventure with a solid storyline, some funny characters, and suspense. If you have any queries, let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them as much as I can afford.
Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
Wish you a good day!

Paddington to me is always these train station in London i had to spend time at least 8 times per month :-)
Good to know that it is an emotional attachment too!
Very emotional - missed some trains there (and as resulot flights) but also met nice people there as of waiting times.
Oh I see! I used to think western people are extremely busy with their own business but I am from Bangladesh who love talking for hours in a cup of tea which is a common picture everywhere. Though I have never been to western world, but in Beijing I miss that environment, here no one talks with other without any necessity.
Haha, good one - I am from Western World but Western is divided, I am in europe which is totally different vs. Western World USA (even most in the US come from Europe originally. Within europe so mayn countries and diffeeent cultures - which is the problem of Europe to make the region work. Noe i am from Germany, even here totally different per region within country.
I am from the south West but now live in Munich.
In Munich restaurant scene: 2 chairs open on a table, you sit there, others at tablle llok at you like a monster thinking "who is this guy" - not talkong to you.
Then go to Cologne, sit at a table alone, everyone comes to you and invited to join them - and they do not stop talking. So also pretty different culture (or what is common in this country).
Now I talked way more as usually :-).
WoW! I am impressed. Thanks for sharing. Have a good day!
