I guess this is one of the silver linings of our modern world, as long as we're able to have a platform to showcase our story and find many people resonate with it, then we might as well get paid from it, even though in a traditional sense this may be something that's frowned upon. I personally enjoy watching these kind of shows just to have a second hand perspective on how other people live their lives amidst noticeable challenges.

Indeed, this is one of the silver lining of the Modern world and how far the internet has modernized over the years. Personally, I like watching the ordinary and unedited lives of regular people and how unique their stories can be.
Some regular people like this can monetize their lives and there are those who will find it very exciting and intriguing.
I think it also broadens our understanding of the world, besides the lessons that can be drawn from it and applied to our own lives.
