RE: Golgo 13: The Professional - Pure vintage action from the legacy of a legendary hitman [ENG/ESP]

You did this review and I only understood that the movie is a huge stoner, where there are pure hits with 80's animation, no idea who Golgo is or where he came from but he looks like a killing machine and attracts girls.

Having more stories of the character from the manga allows the character to be framed more in this extremely down to the clock guy that is very good at getting what he wants, even if whoever hired them is dead (which actually happens with one of his clients in this movie, who uses the gun on himself AFTER knowing Golgo accepted taking out the mafia that killed his family), but even when there's some surprises with the action and the twist I mentioned...you otherwise actually quite got it right there lol

It is both surprising and not surprising that you haven't heard of him before- while I did fall into the rabbit hole of this guy and his anime due to finding a TAS of the arcade game, this character and franchise only really seems to be known for this one movie, likely because of how it encapsulates 80s anime, that little fact about using CGI, and how it isn't out of place as an action movie from the time. But otherwise, you would really have to looked into the backstory to know anything 'bout Golgo 13 beyond the movie.

...Even with all of that said, I think it is also pretty valid to take just this movie alone as a sample and as a standalone action movie. And if you happen to be interested to see more impossible sniper shots or extra planned kills, then the manga and/or 2008 anime are there for you to check out.
