Storyline

Carrying the horror comedy genre, this film tells the story of four friends, namely Jegel, Boris, Bene, and Oki who manage a haunted house at a night market. However, the haunted house is always empty of visitors because it is poorly managed. Then the four of them renovated to make their haunted house even scarier. After the haunted house became busy again, a visitor died inside the attraction. As a result, Jegel and his friends have to find a way to protect their busy haunted house from being chased by the police.

I watched this film last Saturday, February 10, I watched it with my friend at a cinema in my city. Even though this is already the 10th day of broadcast, there are still a lot of viewers for the film Agak Laen and it fills this cinema studio. There are many screening schedules, there are in every cinema studio with various choices of hours.

Actually, the synopsis is enough to explain how the story of this film goes, but I will also explain how I think this story is. This is a film with a unique story, and quite different from other films. If you usually hear about a haunted house, you will definitely think that this is a film that tells a horror story, but actually this is a comedy film. The film tells the story of 4 friends who need money, who have the idea to maintain a haunted house that doesn't have many visitors by changing the haunted house to be better and spookier so that it gets lots of visitors. Of course, that's not the only story of this film. Unfortunately, on the first day of reopening the haunted house, a tragedy occurred, namely that a politician who had a heart disease entered the haunted house and died in the haunted house. The 4 guards at the haunted house were scared and tried to cover up the incident. They buried the politician in the haunted house and that made the politician become a disturbing ghost in the haunted house, but it turned out that it actually made the haunted house even scarier and attracted lots of visitors, so in the following days they deliberately lured the politician's ghost to appear. This is a strange and interesting incident told in the film, making the audience laugh and not feel scared.

This film is also filled with the issues that exist here, and there are also several personal stories from the film actors that are included in the film. That's what makes this film even more interesting. Most of those who play in this film are stand-up comedians, including the four main characters, but their acting skills can be compared to actors who have often appeared in films. And because the writer and director are also comedians, this makes this film very funny, there is a lot of laughter in this film, there are only a few scenes that don't make the audience laugh, such as the scene where Oki (the main character) is with his sick mother, it's touching. throughout the film you will feel like you are laughing, moving and laughing again, and so on.

This is one of my favorite films, I want to watch it again. I Highly recommended to watch, you won't regret watching it. And currently this film is included in the 10 Indonesian films with the most viewers, and it looks like the number of viewers will continue to increase. The presence of this film creates a new color in the world of cinema in Indonesia, and this has been recognized by many people.
