Hello all movie lovers! It's been a while since I came here to recommend something hehe I love movies and series, especially animations, but I confess that currently I don't dedicate as much time to them as I would like. Still, it is always nice to find a small space to contemplate the wonderful stories of creative minds, transformed into visible facts. On this occasion, I bring you a movie that I wanted to see for a while, since I thought it had an interesting premise and for a while, like everything else, it was on the Internet's favorite discussion topics: Elemental, by Disney - Pixar.

The story takes place in a wonderful universe where its creatures are beings composed of the elements: Water, earth, fire and air; which provides each one with different appearances, abilities, customs and even dialects. Although at first, each element lived separately, like tribes, but over time, they began to migrate to other lands, with the hope of a better quality of life, eventually ending up meeting among themselves. and thus, ending up forming a city full of varied elements, in which they coexist in total harmony.

The plot focuses on a couple of fire elements. They come to the city with the idea of finding their own home, but they soon realize that the place does not receive their kind in such a friendly way and that around them, there are many potential dangers to their existence. Finally, and after much searching, they find a place to return home and raise their little daughter, little Ember, under the customs of the fire people, who hate water types, for their harmful power and behavior. Ember adores her father, so she painstakingly helps him run the family store, promising that she will be his when she is ready to take it over.

But things are not so easy for the fire girl, who experiences serious anger problems that appear exactly under the pressure of serving customers. In her desire not to disappoint her father, Ember tries not to let her character dominate her. But like everything in her life, a situation appears that upsets her when one of the building's pipes begins to leak after one of her angry attacks. Alarmed, she rushes to solve the situation and succeeds. Except that unexpectedly in the middle of the water, a waterman has slipped in who turns out to be nothing more and nothing less than a safety inspector. Upon noticing all the violations in the premises, she notifies Ember that against her wishes, she is going to have to make a report so that the business can be closed.

Completely terrified at the idea of seeing the place that her family worked so hard to maintain through so many years of struggle closed, the girl tries to stop the inspector and destroy the report. But, the boy escapes to the city and as expected, Ember goes after him, leaving the limits of the fire zone and risking herself to be able to solve the matter without her father finding out, because she is afraid of disappointing him.

In this way, we will see throughout the film, everything that Eber is capable of doing to be able to take care of the problem that she generated due to her lack of control and, in the same way, how she will discover things about herself as she opens up to new experiences. by allowing yourself to leave your comfort zone.

I had not fully read what it was about, but as I watched the film, I was able to glimpse the different themes that are addressed in it, such as migration and xenophobia. At first, Ember's parents transmit to her daughter the prejudices they grew up with and inevitably, she makes them part of herself. But only when she dares to leave her bubble and allow herself to coexist with other elements is when she realizes that things are not as her parents told her, that is when she begins to discover herself and understand not only who she is, but why she is. which is good. It is certainly very charming, many people throughout their lives are not able to realize what her passions are, because they follow the impositions of her circle. In Elemental, you are invited to be more understanding with emotions, introspection, acceptance of others and of ourselves, for who we are, thus achieving true unity.
I thought the animation was beautiful, the design is really incredible, especially the settings, being able to see an incredible job in creating a city that worked perfectly for its inhabitants. The same with the characters, especially the water and fire characters, you can see their composition moving at every moment and that makes them look quite alive he he
I really liked it and I highly recommend it, you can see the efforts of the creators to make their universe of elements a reality. It is a shame that it was not appreciated as it should be, but that is what makes many jewels shine with their own light for only those who are able to see through their form.

¡Hola a todos los amantes de las películas! Tenía un tiempo sin venir a recomendar algo jeje Me encantan las películas y series, más que nada las animaciones, pero confieso que actualmente no les dedico tanto tiempo como quisiera. Aún así, es agradable siempre hallar un pequeño espacio para contemplar las maravillosas historias de mentes creativas, transformadas en hechos visibles. En ésta oportunidad, les traigo una película que quería ver desde hace un tiempo, dado que me pareció una premisa interesante y durante un tiempo, como todo, estuvo en los temas favoritos de debate de internet: Elemental, de Disney - Pixar.

La historia se desarrolla en un maravilloso universo en donde sus criaturas, son seres compuestos de los elementos: Agua, tierra, fuego y aire; lo cual, los dota a cada uno con diferentes apariencias, capacidades, costumbres y hasta dialectos. A pesar de que en un principio, cada elemento vivía separado, a modo de tribus, pero con el tiempo, los mismos comenzaron a migrar a otras tierras, con la esperanza de una mejor calidad de vida, llegando un punto a terminar reuniéndose entre ellos y así, acabar formando una ciudad llena de elementos variados, en los cuales conviven los mismos en total armonía.

La trama se centra una pareja de elemento de fuego. Ellos llegan hasta la ciudad con la idea de encontrar su propio hogar, pero pronto se dan cuenta de que el sitio, no recibe de forma tan amigable a los de su tipo y que a su alrededor, hay muchos peligros potenciales para su existencia. Finalmente y luego de mucho buscar consiguen un espacio al cual volver su hogar y crían a su pequeña hija, la pequeña Ember, bajo las costumbres de la gente de fuego, quienes aborrecen a los tipo agua, por su poder dañino y comportamiento. Ember adora a su padre, por lo que lo ayuda con mucho esfuerzo a llevar la tienda de la familia, con la promesa de que será suya cuando esté lista para hacerse cargo.

Pero las cosas no son tan fáciles para la chica fuego, quien experimenta serios problemas de ira que aparecen exactamente bajo la presión de atender a los clientes. En su deseo de no defraudar a su padre, Ember trata de que su carácter no la domine. Pero como todo en la vida, aparece una situación que la saca de sus casillas cuando una de las tuberías del edificio, comienza a tener una fuga luego de uno de sus ataques de ira. Alarmada, se apresura en solventar la situación y lo logra. Sólo que inesperadamente en medio del agua, se ha colado un hombre de agua que resulta ser nada más y nada menos que un inspector de seguridad. Al percatarse de todas las violaciones que hay en el local, le notifica a Ember que en contra de sus deseos, va a tener que hacer un informe para que cierren el negocio.

Completamente aterrada ante la idea de ver cerrado el sitio que su familia tanto se esforzó por mantener a través de tantos años de lucha, la chica intenta detener al inspector y destruir el informe. Pero, el chico se escapa hasta la ciudad y como era de esperarse, Ember va tras de él, saliendo de los límites de la zona de fuego y arriesgándose para poder solucionar el asunto sin que su padre se entere, pues teme decepcionarle.

De éste modo, veremos a lo largo del filme, todo lo que es capaz de hacer Eber para poder hacerse cargo del problema que generó por su falta de control y del mismo modo, el cómo irá descubriendo cosas de sí misma al abrirse a nuevas experiencias al permitirse salir de su zona de confort.

! [Clickear para leer mi opinion sobre la pelicula] Sin lugar a dudas, Elemental es una película preciosa. No sólo visualmente, sino en conjunto.
No había leído del todo de qué trataba, pero a medida que iba viendo el filme, pude vislumbrar los distintos temas que se abordan en la misma, como la migración y la xenofobia. En un principio, los padres de Ember transmiten a su hija, los prejuicios con los que ellos crecieron e inevitablemente, los hace parte de sí misma. Pero sólo cuando ella se atreve a salir de su burbuja y a permitirse convivir con otros elementos, es cuando se da cuenta de que las cosas, no son como sus padres le dijeron, es entonces cuando comienza descubrirse y a comprender no sólo quién es, sino para lo que es buena. Es muy encantador ciertamente, muchas personas a lo largo de sus vidas no son capaces de darse cuenta de cuales son sus pasiones, pues siguen las imposiciones de su círculo. En Elemental, se invita a ser más comprensivo con las emociones, a la introspección, la aceptación de los demás y de nosotros, por lo que somos, logrando de esa modo, la verdadera unidad.
La animación me pareció hermosa, es realmente increíble el diseño, sobre todo el de los escenarios, pudiendo ver un increíble trabajo a la hora de elaborar una ciudad que funcionase a la perfección para sus habitantes. Lo mismo con los personajes, más que nada los de agua y los de fuego, puedes ver su composición moverse en cada momento y eso los hace lucir bastante vivos je je
Me gustó bastante la verdad y la recomiendo encarecidamente, se nota el empeño de los creadores por hacer realidad su universo de elementos. Es una lástima que no fuera apreciada como debería, pero eso es lo que hace que muchas joyas, reluzcan con luz propia para únicamente aquellos que son capaces de ver a través de su forma.
