► About

Now this is a classic about rival gangs with cars and err guns fighting it out proper gangsta style but with splurge guns. This is an adult film played by kids, it is genius!

► What you loved about it

I mean the songs are catchy and infectious. What kid when seeing this film would not want to have one of the guns and one of the cars. It is the ultimate kids fantasy film. It is well played by the kids and a young Jodie Foster particularily.

► How it influenced me

I think the music is still with me, not long ago me and some of the SUBs were sat around a piano singing some of the songs from this so the music is definitely still with me. In fact doing this has made me want to listen to the songs again which I have on while I am writing, just love them.

► Any scene that still pops into your mind.

The final fight looks like such fun, imagine being part of that as a young actor! I love the happy ending and them all singing, however even now I would still want a peddle car and a splurge gun for christmas.....
