John Wick 4
Latecomer to the party,
So I'm starting backwards with the ratings. Yes, I have two. If you close your mind and just look, it's 9 . If you start thinking logically then it's 6. What I mean: Wick's falls for example yes they are over the top but gravity must apply to everyone. It is not possible to break necks with a distance of one step, but for Wick to fall from 6th and all is well. Even Neymar would be jealous of her tumble down the stairs. Or how Winston gives a very important piece of information that would "save" us from a movie. Chapter 4 suffers from Hollywood's latest trend. I'm not talking about the known and non-exceptional ones, those are fortunately missing, I'm talking about the duration. As a result, the action scenes dragged on. BUT they are filmed with such a master that makes you forget it a little.
If you waited for me or Chapter 4 to understand that Stahelski is a maestro then you either don't like the genre or you are Donnie Yen's character. And since I mentioned him, by far the best interpretation of the film, although in his first appearance he does something clever (bells) and after the script, he becomes Daredevil. From now on, however, I want him to play blind until the end of his career. Like Scott Adkins was a pleasant surprise. A caricature, but not a thank you. The whole cast plays very well. Unforgettable cast I would say.
As a closing story, it was generally good. I think there is no need for a 5th movie. Since we will have Ballerina and of course other projects. So those of you who haven't seen it, watch it. For those of you who haven't even seen the franchise, watch it. It is proof that an initially generic action film, from the audience's love and respect for them and the part of the credits (a rare species especially in today's Hollywood) can become a successful series of films.
I enjoyed this movie, I also don't think there will be another chapter.
John wick was indeed a nice movie. Thing is I stopped at John wick 3, haven't ascended to the 4 yet. Would def add it to my watchlist
