This is a biographical film about the history of the Boleyn sisters and their life during the period when they both met the King of England, Henry VIII, who became Anne Boleyn's husband after his divorce from Catherine of Aragon.

Argumento

Estas hermanas crecieron muy unidas junto a su hermano, jugaban en completa complicidad y se protegían uno al otro, como era costumbre en esa época los padres se encargaban de comprometer a los hijos desde la infancia, los padres Bolena habían decidido por el futuro de estas jóvenes de distintas maneras, María sería entregada un joven humilde de gran corazón, por ser la más sensible de las hermanas, era sencilla, dulce y hermosa mientras que Ana era fuerte ambiciosa, tenía carácter y podía ser manipuladora si así lo quería, por lo tanto, era difícil ser dominada, ella misma encontraría un esposo para su futuro.

Por otra parte en aquella época los reyes se sentían presionados por tener una descendencia y tener un hijo varón, en el caso de que su esposa no podía darle hijos buscaban amantes para embarazarlas, es ahí cuando el tío de las hermanas Bolena que trabajaba en la corte del rey decide conseguirle una amante a Enrique y lo invita a visitar la familia de su hermano para que conociera a sus sobrinas, con la intención de que Ana se convierta en esa mujer.

Ser amante del rey, no era visto de forma despectiva; al contrario, muchas deseaban tener ese título y gozar de los beneficios económicos. De las hermanas Bolena, María ya estaba casada y vivía aparte con su esposo mientras que Ana era la soltera, pero el rey posó sus ojos sobre María encaprichándose de una forma que la obligó a ser su amante aunque suene extraño, envío el esposo de María al frente de batalla mientras está formaba parte de la corte de su misma esposa Catalina, la joven María no entendía lo que sucedía o no quería comprender que todo había sido un plan para que ella se convirtiera en amante del rey y tarde o temprano lo consiguió a la final María se enamoró del Enrique y este de ella hasta cierto punto.

De estos encuentros María quedó embarazada de la primera hija de rey, pero era una niña, él todavía no conseguía apreciado hijo varón, en esa época Ana su hermana ya estaba en la corte del castillo seduciendo al rey, pero ella no quería ser su amante, ahora quería ser la soberana, obligando al rey a divorciarse de su esposa para que se casara con ella, sin importar el sufrimiento que María su hermana podía sentir, al final Enrique cedió a la presión y los caprichos de Ana divorciándose y casándose con ella convirtiendo a Ana Bolena como la segunda esposa y Reina de Inglaterra, un reinado que duró muy poco.

Films that deal with the history and life of kings usually have impeccable cinematography where the costumes play an important role. The whole atmosphere is simply beautiful, showing the gardens and castles of the time.

Watching this film motivated me to investigate and read about the history of these characters, incredibly Henry VIII married 6 times 😱, divorced, widowed, and sent to the guillotine two of his wives accused of adultery. 😵‍💫

The performances of the Boleyn sisters Anne (Natalie Portman) and Mary (Scarlett Johansson) and King Henry (Eric Bana) were full of expression, intense scenes, power and passion.

If you didn't know it was based on real events, you would think it was fiction, as it shows how ambition and envy can destroy a family, forgetting their past and the love they had for each other.

The main character, Ana, leaves us a message and teaches us that ambition and greed are bad feelings that lead us down dark paths, bringing out the worst part of our being, affecting even the people who love us.

No resources were spared in the production of this film, it has a cast of excellent quality and a well told story, many times I lost my breath because of the events and did not believe that at some point it was real, I enjoyed the whole production and I invite you to watch it and enjoy it.

Las películas que tienen que ver con la historia y vida de los reyes por lo general manejan una fotografía impecable donde el vestuario juega un papel importante. Todo el ambiente es sencillamente hermoso, mostrando los jardines y los castillos de esa época.

Mirar esta película me motivó a indagar y leer sobre la historia de estos personajes, increíblemente Enrique VIII se casó 6 veces 😱, se divorció, enviudó, y mandó a la guillotina a dos de sus esposas acusadas de adulterio. 😵‍💫

Las actuaciones de las hermanas Bolena Ana (Natalie Portman) y María (Scarlett Johansson) y del rey Enrique (Eric Bana) estuvieron llenas de expresiones, escenas intensas, con mucha fuerza y pasión.

Si no se supiera que está basada en hechos reales, cualquiera puede pensar que es ficción, ya que muestra cómo la ambición y la envidia pueden destruir una familia olvidando su pasado y el amor que se tenían.

El personaje principal de Ana, nos deja un mensaje y nos enseña que la ambición y la codicia son malos sentimientos que nos llevan por caminos oscuros, sacando la peor parte de nuestro ser, afectando incluso a las personas que nos aman.

No escatimaron ningún recurso para la producción de esta película, cuenta con un reparto de excelente calidad y una historia bien contada, muchas veces perdí el aliento por los acontecimientos y no creía que en algún momento fue real, disfruté de toda la producción e invito a que la puedas ver y disfrutar.
