It is a film that involves a thoughtful message about our society, prejudice and social networks and how a series of triggers can change anyone's life in a few minutes because of a mix-up.
I felt motivated to watch this movie because of its trailer, as it shows a young man desperate and unable to find a solution, also because I remembered a real life case that because of a confusion a crowd of people murdered a friend of my father.
Harry is a young man who tries to survive the revenge that is unleashed by a confusion in social networks, something that could happen to any of us.
Es una película que involucra un mensaje reflexivo sobre nuestra sociedad, los prejuicios y las redes sociales y como una serie de factores desencadenantes le pueden cambiar la vida a cualquiera en pocos minutos por una confusión.
Me sentí impulsada a ver esta película por su tráiler, ya que muestra a un joven desesperado y que no encuentra solución, también porque recordé un caso de la vida real que por una confusión una multitud de personas asesinaron a un amigo de mi padre.
Harry es un joven que intenta sobrevivir a la venganza que se desata por una confusión en redes sociales, algo que podría pasarle a cualquiera de nosotros.
Plot | Argumento
Harry has to look after the house of his parents who are going on vacation for a weekend, he says goodbye to his girlfriend agreeing that she will arrive later, so he has to travel using the train station and where a terrorist act takes place in which 12 people die, He has Hindu ancestry, and it is shown in the film how some people decide to stay away because of his appearance he doesn't look bad, but we are used to relating terrorist acts with people who have beards and other features that could be associated falling into prejudice, since we can not classify people by how they look. Many of the serial killers look like harmless people and go unnoticed, so there is no physical pattern that determines who is a terrorist and who is not, but this prejudice is what triggers the pursuit of hate and terror that Harry lives.
Bad news are the first to go viral on social networks, today everyone wants to be the first to give the information and people get involved in sensitive issues without having real knowledge of the events, giving opinions and drawing conclusions without real basis, this was what happened to Harry when he arrived at his parents' house his girlfriend jokingly tells him that in the news there are images of the guy who is suspected of committing the crime and that is very similar to him, It is there where an internet group is created and people enraged by the fact that they want quick answers from the authorities decide to collaborate with images and assumptions, to the point that they relate Harry and take for granted that he is the criminal, initiating a harassment by his Facebook spreading terror to his girlfriend, because they find all his information online, from the location of his work, home address and even the address or phone number of his parents' house, this is a wake-up call for viewers, I wonder how much information I have in my social networks? Am I vulnerable to a similar attack?
His house was invaded and in the end his girlfriend decided not to accompany him, because she was also a victim of threats to the point of distrusting her own boyfriend, but Harry felt safe at his parents house requesting police help to raise the situation, but the police only recommended him to stay quiet while they investigated, from my point of view I inferred that for the same police the flow of information instead of bringing benefits hindered the investigation, the fact is that the same terrorist sent false information to the networks, diverting attention to Harry and increasing hatred, inciting violence, discrimination, xenophobia and racism.

Harry tiene que cuidar la casa de sus padres que se van de vacaciones por un fin de semana, se despide de su novia quedando de acuerdo en que ella llegara luego, por lo que le toca viajar usando la estación de tren y donde se efectúa un acto terrorista en la que fallecen 12 personas, él tiene ascendencia hindú y se muestra en la película como algunas personas deciden alejarse por su apariencia que no es mala, sino que estamos acostumbrados a relacionar hechos terroristas con personas de que poseen barba y otros rasgos que se pudieran asociar cayendo en prejuicios, ya que no podemos clasificar a la gente por como se ven. Muchos de los asesinos seriales parecen personas inofensivas y pasas desapercibidas, así que no existe un patrón físico que determine quién es terrorista y quién no, pero este prejuicio es lo que desencadena la persecución de odio y terror que vive Harry.
Las noticias malas son las primeras que se viralizan en redes sociales, hoy en día todos quieren ser los primeros en dar la información y las personas se involucran en temas delicados sin tener conocimiento real de los sucesos, opinando y sacando conclusiones sin base real, esto fue lo que le paso a Harry cuando al llegar a la casa de sus padres su novia bromeando le dice que en las noticias hay imágenes del sujeto que se sospecha cometió el crimen y que es muy parecido a él, es allí donde se crea un grupo por internet y las personas enfurecidas por el hecho que quieren respuestas rápidas de las autoridades deciden colaborar con imágenes y suposiciones, hasta el punto que relacionan a Harry y dan por hecho que es el criminal, iniciando un acoso por su Facebook extendiendo el terror a su novia, porque encuentran toda su información en línea, desde la ubicación de su trabajo, dirección de vivienda y hasta la dirección o el teléfono de la casa de sus padres, esto es un llamado de atención para los espectadores, me pregunte ¿qué tanta información tengo en mis redes sociales? ¿Soy vulnerable a un ataque similar?
Su casa fue invadida y al final su novia decidió no acompañarlo, porque también fue víctima de amenazas hasta el punto de desconfiar de su propio novio, pero Harry se sentía a salvo en la casa de sus padres solicitando ayuda policial planteando la situación, pero la policía solo le recomendó que se quedara tranquilo mientras ellos investigaban, desde mi punto de vista inferí que para la misma policía el flujo de información en vez de aportar beneficios obstaculizaba la investigación, el hecho es que el mismo terrorista enviaba información falsa a las redes, desviando la atención hacia Harry y aumentando el odio, incitando a la violencia, la discriminación, la xenofobia y el racismo.

Siempre que estoy en clases y me toca este tema de las RRSS hago enfásis en lo vulnerables que somos por exponernos tanto. Seguro que es una película que dará de qué hablar. Gracias por mostrarla, si la encuentro por allí, la veo. Saludos.
