No Country for Old Men - When Evil has No Explanation

Look, my friend, if you're looking for a traditional action movie with the hero versus the villain, this is a completely different game and No Country for Old Men is not an ordinary action movie, it's a purely psychological movie, it puts you in a dark mood and makes you feel that this world has no rules, and that evil sometimes has no reason at all.

The story in brief (without spoilers)

The events take place in Texas in 1980, when "Llewellyn Moss" (Josh Brolin) finds a bag containing $2 million among the corpses of a drug deal gone bad, and of course instead of reporting it to the police, he takes the money and runs the problem is that he's not the only one who wants the money, behind him is a terrifying hired killer named "Anton Chigurh" (Javier Bardem), and this man is not ordinary... he's a cold, expressionless man who kills people with a coin and the strangest thing is that he has his own logic, if he meets someone he doesn't know whether to kill or not, he makes him throw the coin and it determines his fate.

Why is this movie genius?

First of all, Javier Bardem's performance is fantastic, his character will stay in your mind for a long time, and this is one of the most terrifying villains in the history of cinema, not because he causes you traditional fear, no, because he is calm in a way that makes you not know what he is thinking, and this in itself is scary.

In addition, the Coen brothers' directing is genius, the entire movie is almost without soundtrack, and this increases the tension, making you feel as if you are in the scenes with them for real. No one in the movie talks a lot, and every look or movement says something, you have to focus on every detail.

This is not the kind of movie that ends while you are comfortable, no, the movie ends while telling you "Think on your own", the ending may seem strange or frustrating, but in fact it is genius and expresses the idea of the movie itself, that the world does not always have clear answers.

If you like movies that take you on a heavy psychological journey, and make you think about the meaning of evil and life, No Country for Old Men will impress you. But if you are waiting for traditional action and a clear ending, you may feel disappointed. But in any case, the movie is a great cinematic experience.

It sounds nice.
The flipping of coin to determine the person's fate, if it goes in favour of the victim, he normally leave them or still go ahead to kill?
