Tv Series I'll be watching on February 2024

2024 is going by very fast, January was a very balance month in terms of the TV Series I'm still watching, I can't cover them all and I'm still watching a few, next I plan to cover is Masters of The Air, I did manage to watch ECHO (2024) it was surprisingly OK giving a 7/10 and recently find out it only had a budget of $40M compared to other Marvel Productions that is very low. For February there are two return to the screen and two bring new that I'm planing to watch, over all I'm very excited for three of them that includes Mr & Mr.s Smith, Halo and Tokyo Vice while A Bloody Lucky Day not so sure about it. On this blog posts I give some brief description of each with their own trailer and some of the reasons I'm motivated to watch this series, there are many other series that I have seen on calendar but this are the ones I will be following and probably cover depending on the time available, now days its so much content specially in 2024 after the 2023 backlog that there is not enough time to watch them all.

A Bloody Lucky Day is a South Korean TV Series. The story is about Oh-Taek an ordinary taxi driver who has a normal life. Every day he wakes up to do his job, one day he has a dream that makes him believe that will be a very lucky day. During the day in fact he has a lot of passengers but almost ending the day a passenger (Geum Hyeok Soo) stop Oh-Taek and asked him to take him to Mukpo, a distance place from the city, Oh-Taek accepted because it represent an extra money that he needs. While the hours where passing Oh-Taek and the passenger (Geum Hyeok Soo) star a conversation and Oh-Taek realized that his passenger wasn’t a normal person, he was driven a serial killer who due to be boring confessed his nature. Meanwhile Hwang Soon Kyu is a mother that his behind of the person who killed his son and is very sure that is Geum Hyeok Soo, the taxi drivers passenger. Oh-Taek now with this information is in panic, scared of what can happen during the trip and only want to end it but the passanger has other plans. Geum Hyeok Soo drag the poor Oh-Taek to different situations that probably make him believe that this will be his last day but also force him to fight for his life.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith is a TV series created by Donald Glover and Francesca Sloane. The TV series is based in the movie of 2005 with the same name starring by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Mr. and Mrs. Smith is a spy comedy and action TV series perform by Donald Glover as Mr. Smith and Maya Erskine as Mrs. Smith. The story is a about two spies that work for an agency and were assigned for a mission, they realized that the mission is full of travels and wealth but they must play a role as husband and wife. During the job they has to deal with different situations as spies like shooting, speed racing, explosions, death people but at the same time they must have dinners with neighbors as a normal couple, therapy sessions as a normal marriage and dates as husband and wife to play their roles. They also star knowing each other, making that strong feelings star emerging for each other until the point they both says “I LOVE YOU”, that is the moment of irony in this TV series where everything star just like a normal job for two strangers that accept another job in their agendas but end with a confession of love, I'm expecting this to be a series full of action but specially with comedy between the lines having Donald Glover on the scene.

The first season of Halo was quite the adventure, Master Chief and his team, Silver Team, on their riskiest mission yet. They ventured deep into enemy territory to retrieve two important ancient objects. These objects contain a map to a hidden station called Halo. Despite facing huge challenges, all the members of Silver Team made it out alive. But things get intense as the episode ends. Master Chief faces off against a dangerous enemy, risking everything for victory. In a surprising move, he lets Cortana, an AI, take over his body to win. This moment brings to life Dr. Halsey's dream of merging human and AI, something not too different from what's happening today. Season from the trailer shows a lot more of battleing between the two sides but this time it does seem that humans are taking the bad part of it to the point that The Covenant sends a direct attack to their base forcing the entire legion of marines join the Spartans in battle, no only on the ground but in space too.

Tokyo Vice" is a TV show about crime in Japan. It's based on a book and follows the story of a journalist named Jake Adelstein in the late 1990s. He becomes the first American crime reporter for a big Japanese newspaper and his first assignment is covering a stabbing case. He teams up with an experienced detective to learn about the dangerous world of the Japanese mafia, even though officially, Tokyo is seen as a safe city. The first season ends with Jake facing some tough situations for example he betrays Detective Katagiri's trust by giving a tip about a drug shipment for this reason he got put on ice sicne Katagiri ignores Jake's calls for a month. Jake realizes he needs to apologize and earn Katagiri's trust back, Japan despite been on the same planet is a totall separate world compare to other cultures and Jake have no clue about it. Short after he gets a videotape showing a woman being assaulted and killed with this evidence, Jake goes to Katagiri, asking for another chance. The season ends with a lot of unanswered questions, leaving the characters in risky situations.

I hope you like this small group of TV Series I have put up to watch this month February, 2024. There are still some from January that are running so I'm sure will keep you entertain, I know one of the Halo is a bit controversial for been an adaptation and not sticking to the game story but it does pack a lot of action, we need to be aware of what we get in before start any of this series, spending time of them now days is a kind of investment to be hones and I don't want people to disappointing so I have been shifting my content from just covering TV Series episodes with a mix of preview material, before they come out try to put up a blog post with my expectations and some of them latter on cover with a personal opinion post.
