Into the World of Parasyte: The Grey
The story of Parasyte: They Grey won’t be following the story of the manga neither the anime but it has the same root, parasitic that are between the human race. A story directed by Train to Busan director Yeon Sang-ho, Parasyte: The Grey is going to follow a woman and infected for one of those parasitic but the same doesn’t control her completely letting her keep her humanity, in a world where the parasitic want to rule the world a group of humans are going to give the fight against them and recover society. This is a new story that take as reference the international acclaimed manga by Hitoshi Iwaaki as a mention before already has an anime and is well known around the world but know the setting is in Korea, despite the changes in the story the same trying to keep the essence of the original with the horror and the sci-fiction.
At the moment that this new project by Netflix was announced the excitement was huge. The original story of Parasyte is well known for thousands of fans around the world of this dis-topic, chaotic and weird world were parasitic wants to rule being an manga and an anime but now this live action series is bringing an original story that for the audience and some fans is good because is a way to expand the world of Parasyte and also is great to see how is presenting the change of the human when the parasitic take the control of their bodies at the moment of a fight, acclaimed by the direction, the performances, the cinematography and the catchy story. But not everything is fabulous because exist a group of devoted fans that are not pleased for the changed of the main character that instead of being a man now is woman or for the changed of the plot, despite all this the new live action Parasyte: The Grey is being highly anticipated by the audience.
One more time Netflix is taking the risk to create series about manga and anime that are legends in the Otaku world. Parasyte is well known for being those kind of manga the manage very well the topic of horror and sci-fi, in this live action that is what the audience and the fans that are very critical about everything wants to enjoy, a good story, with a good sci-fi, incredible action scenes and a congruent plot. Director Yeon Sang-Ho do believed that he achieved all those points and with the performance of the South Korean cast that is known for their good work at the moment to do a film or K-drama, the audience is a a little more convinced about the series, also keeping in mind that Netflix already gave to the viewers greatest series such as Once Piece and Avatar the Last Airbender and they are doing it better every time. So with all this said only need to wait for the premiered and judge if the director, the actors and obviously Netflix are going to give to the audience and fans another great series.
