Parallel is a movie that tell the story of Vanessa a woman that is in grief for the memory of her death child she star filling weird in the place where she is in that moment that is the family lake house and near to the house is a forest claimed as an reservation side, one day she decided to go out and walk around but she really feel that was something wrong with the forest even though she continue walking until she found a mysterious place that result to be an old facilities that was used for unknown experiments that concern Vanessa and after that day weird events started happening in Vanessa’s house like birds hitting the window, she watched his brother in law leave her house but at the second see him again but getting out of the bathroom, Vanessa started to think that she is getting crazy and her husband began thinking the same about her asking her to please search for professional help because he love her but can’t continue watching loosing herself. Vanessa decided to find out what is happening in that place but suddenly in the forest she encounter with a man that she though was her husband but he explained to her that he is not her husband that he is a man from another place and time and also explain that exist parallel worlds and a bridge that connect theme all making theme to coexist but now they are enter in conflict since that moment she is going to start living a twisted life with chaotic events but determine to find her child in one of those worlds. This movie will make the audience watch how multiples versions of the characters will intercept themself in a hunting not to coexist but to conquer and be the only version in all the worlds, it is a complex premise and viewers are going to unscramble everything until the last minute of movie.

The main idea is to show a multiverse and the different version of the characters involve in the plot, this is a kind of story that will keep the audience thinking in all those worlds that are entangle existing between universe until the point of meeting together and affecting their reality, that is the way that the movie is capturing the audience by playing with their mind trying to found out what is real, also talked about the loss of a mother and the daily pain in all her memories but everything change when she discover those parallel universe and think that probably in one of those world her baby still alive, unfortunately when she decided to crossed to other world she is not the only that is doing the same and will star facing dangers that she never imagined. There is a lot of thinking on this movie and to a certain point a risky move since it could be very tricky to have actors put out the enough amount of emotions and at the same time the script needs to be on point to call this a success and create the right reaction from viewers.

The cast began with Danielle Deadwyler she take the role of Vanessa showing her versatile acting skills, she has worked in film, TV series and theater with notable performances including her role in the movie The Devil to Pay and the movie Till a thriller that address racism with intention of raising awareness. The cast follows Aldis Hodge, Vanessa’s husband, Hodge is a multifaceted actor that has played many roles in TV Series and movies such as Die Hard with a Vengeance, Bed of Roses, Black Adam, Straight Outta Compton and many others his last production was Marmalade where he gave a great performance showing his great acting skills and last but not least is Edwin Hodge that plays the role of Vanessa’s brother in law. Hodge’s career began with appearances in popular TV series such as Boston Public, Jack & Bobby and NCIS where he shows his value and versatility as an actor however it was his role as Dante Bishop in the series of movies Purge that solidified his status as a rising star in Hollywood. Is important to mention that Aldis Hodge and Edwin Hodge are brothers making a great synergy with their performances and including actress Danielle Deadwyler to complete the gear on this production.

The director of this movie is Kourosh Ahari an Iranian director, screenwriter and producer, his career in the cinema field began with short films that caught attention for their innovative approach and visual, he made his debut with the adaption The Yellow Wallpaper from the book with the same name it is a story of a woman that suffer postpartum depression that begins to lose her sanity all during a time where mental health and women right didn’t exist, in 2020 he brings his new movie The Night a horror thriller that tell the story of an Iranian couple that travel to USA for tourism but they get lost and tired decided to stay in a motel but inside the room they are trapped for real demons and the the demons of their relationship that begin to materialize in front of them.
