At the beginning of the movie, the basketball coach of Busan Jungang High School resigns to save his honor due to the player crisis and poor performance of the basketball team. As a result, the school principal wants to decide to stop playing basketball from the school through a meeting with his teachers, but since Busan Jungang High School was once very good at playing basketball, the teachers decided to rebuild the basketball team to regain their lost respect.

So the principal is forced to hire a new coach with a low salary and hire Kang Yang-hyeon, a former celebrity basketball player of their school's basketball team. When Kang Yang-hyeon becomes the coach and gets to know the school's basketball team, it turns out that the school's basketball team only has 4 players, and since the new coach is a former student, two other players decide not to play. As a result, coach Kang Yang-hyeon was forced to start looking for players for the basketball team and with great difficulty arranged 7 players in the team to form a strong basketball team through his best efforts.

However, the tallest and fittest player among the 7 players was unfaithful to coach Kang Yang-hyeon's team during the tournament. As a result, coach Kang Yang-hyeon changed his team's lineup at the last minute to start the tournament, and Busan Jungang High School lost the first match due to referee bias. Due to such punishment, Busan Jungang High School's basketball team disbanded again, causing Coach Kang to work hard to form a basketball team again.

However, because Coach Kang could not arrange any backup players for his team, he participated in the basketball tournament again with 6 players and each player started to perform very well in the basketball game again after many years by playing extraordinary games as instructed by their coach. As a result, Coach Kang finally helped his team to reach the finals and continued to strengthen his team for the future by running up with outstanding skills in the final match. It can be seen that the wonderful and talented Coach Kang continues to serve as the coach of the Korean National Basketball Team and the basketball players he has created have had the opportunity to play in good basketball teams.
