Movie Review - Road House [Good or Disappointment?]

Good afternoon, friends of Hive and the Movie and Tv show community. This is my second post on the net and besides introducing myself with the pseudonym of sexy neanderthal I came to experiment to give a review, a personal impression of a movie. I consider myself to have a lot of knowledge but no experience in the subject, so I will test my maximum potential to transmit to you what happened when I saw this movie.

I wasn't expecting much, but it was recommended with only one premise "It's going to be entertaining" Ok, that's all I need. The movie in question is called Roadhouse, which according to what I was informed at the time of recommending it, is a remake of a certain story, of which they tell me in a very summarized way the plot, I put myself in situation and I understand that it will be entertaining, lots of action and some story that unravels the fight and the central framework of the place.

So it begins, some fights look very cool and I get caught up in the visual effect, the camera style, or the speed they use, but this conveys the maelstrom of the beatdown very well. The plot begins to "complexify" and an interest to know what will happen takes hold of me. Our protagonist, Jake Gyllenhaal, goes through moments and limiting situations, always demonstrating a firm stance and conviction in front of all of them. All this is building the character and with whom he begins to relate, until the appearance of the fighter Conor McGregor, who despite acknowledging it, I have not seen him do much more than his own. It's very strange to see him act, and the character's dumbed down and brutish nature doesn't help him to show off his acting. It's worth noting that his performance is nothing amazing. However, other actors do manage to convey fear, desperation and an attempt at violence with their clumsy fists. Something I don't want to leave without telling you is that looking for posters and dates of both movies I found a note where the viewers of the movie, fans or not, are divided between those who loved Connor's participation and those who left with a taste of little of the character.

I hope you liked it, it was an entertaining movie that I wouldn't watch again, but if it's on TV, sure, I'd leave it. And although I would have liked to write before, I am still understanding how it works and looking for the time to be able to write and to be able to give continuity to the content, is that I plan to be able to write here about movies and impressions from the most unaware and consumer side in this current plane, being always faithful to my neanderthal nature. I leave you a greeting.

In short, the expected, without much spoiler: our heartthrob will do everything and more to defeat the mafia, although his traumas haunt him since the beginning of the movie and he will have to face the bully that is Connor, whose final fight is not very epic, but still spiced up the night. It delivered on its promise to entertain, but didn't really leave much of a message, plus I want to admit that the whole time I was thinking about what details I would or wouldn't want to share here. It wasn't productive, beyond one-off scenes, or a lot of muscles, the movie doesn't have a big charming detail.
