I presented this game as a remake of a game from the 90s, Realms of Arkania: Star Trail, a complex and demanding rpg that was a welcome change from the usual D&D and AD&D of the time.
It was inspired by "The Black Eye", a German medieval fantasy role-playing game created in 1984, known by its acronym DSA (Das Schwarze Auge).
I think I remember playing it.
So I gave the remake a try, but getting started is difficult, character creation is off-putting, and I had to choose to keep the basic characters.
The graphics aren't too bad, contrary to what the cinematic suggested, and resemble those of Elder Scroll indeed, so at least the game is fluid.
I wanted to quickly test out the combat by going hunting in the countryside outside the city, but that's impossible - you can only travel from site to site.
I did find a dungeon to clear in the starting town, but I didn't have a torch or a lamp, so it was hard to move forward. I took a bit of loot, but still no combat, so I went back out to buy some matches, and I'll go back later.

J'ai donc essayé le remake, mais les débuts sont difficiles, la création des personnages est rebutante, et j'ai dû choisir de garder les personnages de base.
Le graphisme n'est pas trop vilain, contrairement à ce que la cinématique laissait présager, et ressemble à celui d'Elder Scroll en effet, au moins le jeu est fluide.
J'ai voulu tester rapidement les combats en allant chasser dans la campagne en dehors de la ville, mais c'est impossible, on ne peut voyager que de site en site.
J'ai quand même trouvé un donjon à nettoyer dans la ville de départ, mais je n'avais pas de torche ni de lampe, donc difficile d'avancer, j'ai pris un peu de butin, mais toujours pas de combat, je suis ressorti acheter des allumettes, j'y retournerai tout à l'heure.

J'aime beaucoup les cinématiques d'introduction dans les jeux vidéo et je vais proposer une série de petits concours qui permettront au gagnant d'obtenir 1 HSBI.
