Music removes division

The above song is from the movie Mr. & Mrs. Mahi. Aamir Mir, a singer, rose to fame by singing this song so melodiously that it went viral and is now more popular than the movie version. His clip is also used in shorts that showcase religious clips also.
Music proves that a man's heart is above divisions created by society. Music can transcend language, geographical barriers, and religions. God is Love, and one does not need strict regulations imposed by high priests to understand the concept of the almighty. It is enough if one gives food to a hungry person or clothes the homeless. Being kind to animals, speaking softly without arrogance and anger, and being humble despite wealth are all better than showing off that one is religious and pious.
Soulful music can move and even transform hard hearts. Have you noticed people crying when they hear music that is so moving that they cannot control their emotions? Such is the strong influence of music.
I love all kinds of genres in music if it is well done. I do love melodies, though, and also bhajans. There are masterpieces in Bollywood movies also that are still my favorites. Some may argue that many songs have been copied, but where music is concerned, there is no right or wrong because notes are the same, and anyone can create great music similarly. The latest example is the song from the movie Kantara and the music album by Thaikudam Bridge, a band in Kerala. There was a case filed, but the court ruled it out. The movie song went viral and also helped gain publicity for the band too.

Kantara shows the traditional art forms of the states in India. The local temples and the family deities and how people pray to them for protection from evil. It is a beautiful song and invokes devotion.
Bhajans are songs that inspire the person to search inward and connect with the divine. I have witnessed people from all faiths singing bhajans. As a Sai devotee, I have sung along to bhajans of all faiths and heard people from all over the world doing so along with me, and there was no religious difference felt by any of us. Such is the power of music.
