Jurassic lovers

I am excited to learn that a new Jurassic movie is coming this year. Rebirth is the name given to it and hopefully, it will meet the expectations of the fans worldwide.

It is also exciting to note that Scarlett Johansson is one of the lead actors in this movie. She is on a mission to collect samples from dinosaurs to aid in creating some sort of medicine that can cure human diseases. The movie is a standalone sequel to Dominion and is probably inspired by the recent COVID-19 pandemic. Not many details about the plot are given on the wiki page and fan trailers are plenty. Hope, we get to see movie trailers like the ones we saw before the last movie which in my opinion was better than the movie itself.

Recently, I came across an indie movie made on YouTube by Ali Awada who is a very hard fan of Jurassic. He and his team produce AI versions of Jurassic. The movies are really good and he has a huge fanbase by now. The movies will have to be better than his work as per some people. (AI does pose some serious competition)

YouTube also has many videos by paleontologists who explain that the dinos we saw in the Jurassic movies were rather different. The velociraptor in the kitchen scene in the first movie would only be as big as a small bird that you could fend off with a boot but they had modeled it after the only big version - the Utah raptor. Also, the T Rex would not have been scaly.

Another wrong fact the movies showed was that the T Rex did not have sharp eyesight. The actors stood still hoping that the animal would not see them. Then it goes on to show the co-actor waving a torch and it goes after him. The T Rex does have sharp eyesight and would have probably eaten Dr. Grant then and there.

Anyway, the later movies in the franchise would never match the first one. Hope the movie Rebirth will cover the flaws of the previous ones and give us fans a great experience.
