[ESP/ENG] Dibujo del cineasta CLEMENTE DE LA CERDA (+Proceso)/ Drawing filmmaker CLEMENTE DE LA CERDA (+Process).

¡Hola, Comunidad de Hive! Hoy, 28 de enero, se celebra en Venezuela el Día del Cine Nacional, en conmemoración de la primera proyección de filmaciones hechas en nuestro territorio, donde además se celebra y se reconoce la labor de todos los involucrados en las creación y difusión del cine venezolano.

No quise dejar pasar esta oportunidad para presentar un dibujo de acuerdo a esta celebración y por eso les traigo esta obra que tiene como protagonista a CLEMENTE DE LA CERDA, uno de los cineastas más importantes de Venezuela, responsable de algunas de las películas más taquilleras y críticas de nuestra cinematografía, como es el caso de "Soy un delincuente" (1976), "El reincidente" (1977), "El crimen del penalista" (1979), "Los criminales" (1982) y "Retén de Catia" (1984).

A su vez, implementé la técnica que siempre suelo usar para mis dibujos, para después pasarla por un proceso de digitalización. A continuación les muestro cómo fue el proceso.

Hello, Hive Community! Today, January 28, is celebrated in Venezuela the National Cinema Day, in commemoration of the first projection of films made in our territory, which also celebrates and recognizes the work of all those involved in the creation and dissemination of Venezuelan cinema.

I did not want to miss this opportunity to present a drawing according to this celebration and that is why I bring you this work that has as its protagonist CLEMENTE DE LA CERDA, one of the most important filmmakers of Venezuela, responsible for some of the most successful and critical films of our cinematography, as is the case of "Soy un delincuente" (1976), "El reincidente" (1977), "El crimen del penalista" (1979), "Los criminales" (1982) and "Retén de Catia" (1984).

I took as a reference one of the most iconic images of this director, which you can see in this link: https://m.facebook.com/fundacioncinematecanacional/photos/las-producciones-cinematogr%C3%A1ficas-del-cineasta-venezolano-clemente-de-la-cerda-s/2405301282938682/. At the same time, I implemented the technique that I always use for my drawings, and then went through a digitalization process. Below I show you how the process went.

El primer paso fue hacer un boceto de la imagen en cartulina con un lápiz 4H, definiendo así su silueta.

The first step was to make a sketch of the image on cardboard with a 4H pencil, thus defining its silhouette.

Después, le di la forma definitiva al dibujo con un lápiz 6B, remarcando las zonas más oscuras.

Then, I gave the drawing its final shape with a 6B pencil, highlighting the darker areas.

Para terminar, tomé el dibujo y lo pasé por la opción Umbral de Photoshop CS6, limpiando así el dibujo y dividiéndolo en blanco y negro.

To finish, I took the drawing and ran it through Photoshop CS6's Threshold option, thus cleaning up the drawing and splitting it into black and white.
