Review of the netflix series: Palpito [Esp/Eng]

Recientemente, se estrenó la segunda temporada de una serie de Netflix llamada Pálpito que al parecer es realmente buena o al menos eso dicen. Hace meses atrás veía los resumen de la temporada 1 en facebook y realmente pensaba en adquirir una pantalla de Netflix para verla y cuando al fin la conseguí, luego se me olvido el nombre de la serie hasta hace poco que comencé a ver los anuncios que hacían de la temporada 2, pero yo no puedo ver esa sin antes haber visto la primera así que aproveche el fin de semana para ver la primera temporada y hoy vengo a contarte que me pareció.

Recently, the second season of a Netflix series called Palpito was released and apparently it's really good or at least that's what they say. Months ago I saw the summary of season 1 on facebook and I really thought about getting a Netflix screen to watch it and when I finally got it, then I forgot the name of the series until recently I started to see the ads for season 2, but I can not watch that one without having seen the first one so I took advantage of the weekend to watch the first season and today I come to tell you what I thought of it.

Zacarías es un hombre apasionado, estratega y aparentemente algo controlador, pero que está muy enamorado de Camila, tanto que es capaz de tomar una desición drastica para salvar la vida de la mujer que tanto ama y es aquí cuando quizás puedes amar o odiar al personaje por hacer lo más horrible del mundo pero a lo mejor es por una causa justificada o quizás no.

A medida que iba viendo el desenlace de la historia sentía como algo de lastima o tristeza por Zacaría porque pensaba que el había tomado una decisión que ahora perturba su mente, no lo deja dormir y que a partir de eso ya no sería el mismo de antes porque se había vuelto un asesino para salvar la vida de su esposa. Pero no solo había perdido la paz mental porque ahora se encontraba amenazado por los tipos que había contratado para realizar el encargo y eso pondría en riesgo toda su carrera, el trabajo que se encontraba realizando que era convertir a un candidato en presidente e incluso perdería definitivo el amor de Camila que era lo que realmente le preocupaba, aunque poco sabía el que la mujer que lo amaba antes de la operación ya no lo estaba amando igual.

Zacarias is a passionate man, strategist and apparently somewhat controlling, but he is very much in love with Camila, so much so that he is capable of taking a drastic decision to save the life of the woman he loves so much and it is here when you can love or hate the character for doing the most horrible thing in the world but maybe it is for a justified cause or maybe not.

As I was watching the outcome of the story I felt some pity or sadness for Zacaría because I thought that he had made a decision that now disturbs his mind, does not let him sleep and that after that he would not be the same as before because he had become a murderer to save the life of his wife. But he had not only lost his peace of mind because now he was threatened by the guys he had hired to carry out the assignment and that would jeopardize his entire career, the work he was doing which was to turn a candidate into president and he would even lose the love of Camila which was what really worried him, although little did he know that the woman who loved him before the operation was no longer loving him the same way.

Camila es una mujer apasionada, con toque de inocencia, alegre, de un alma libre y que le gusta tomar fotos por todos lados y prácticamente se puede decir que estaba preparada por si un día le tocaba morir, así que se puede decir que disfrutaba de lo que le quedaba de vida.

Realmente pude sentir un poco de rabia hacia el personaje porque desde el principio del inicio de su relación con Zacarías ella le oculto su enfermedad, si no hasta mucho, ya después de que ambos estaban muy enamorados. Claro, por un lado, pienso que se lo oculto porque deseaba poder vivir al máximo la experiencia de haber compartido su vida con un hombre al cual amar, así que por ese lado la justifico un poco porque quizás no hubiese cambiado mucho si hubiese dicho desde un principio o quizás sí. También la odié cuando inicio con el tema de querer saber de quién era el corazón que había recibido y no se conformó con la política de que ese tipo de información era reservada, así que entre tanta búsqueda se encontró con una pesadilla.
No solo fueron esos pequeños detalles porque también ya era evidente que desde antes de darse cuenta lo que su esposo había provocado ya ella estaba dejando de amarlo, ya no sentía por él lo mismo que antes de la operación, así que eso fue motivo para yo decir que era un poco injusta. No estoy encontrá de eso, pero quizás hubiese podido esperar por lo menos hasta que se descubriese en lo que andaba metido Zacarías

Camila is a passionate woman, with a touch of innocence, cheerful, a free soul who likes to take pictures everywhere and you can practically say that she was prepared in case one day she had to die, so you can say that she enjoyed what was left of her life.

I could really feel a bit of anger towards the character because from the beginning of her relationship with Zacarias she hid her illness from him, if not until long after they were both very much in love. Of course, on the one hand, I think she hid it from him because she wanted to be able to live to the fullest the experience of having shared her life with a man to love, so on that side I justify her a little bit because maybe she wouldn't have changed much if she had told him from the beginning or maybe she would have. I also hated her when she started with the subject of wanting to know whose heart she had received and she didn't conform to the policy that this kind of information was reserved, so among so much searching she found herself with a nightmare.
It was not only those little details because it was also evident that before she realized what her husband had caused she was no longer loving him, she no longer felt for him the same as before the operation, so that was a reason for me to say that it was a little unfair. I am not sure about that, but maybe I could have waited at least until it was discovered what Zechariah was involved in.

Ella es Samantha es hija de quien realmente es la verdadera víctima de toda la historia y definitivamente no me gusta el papel que realiza ella porque si, ella pasa por un trauma muy fuerte que es la perdida de su madre, sumando a eso prácticamente su padre quien por andar en busca de venganza la abandona dejándola por lo menos un 80% a cargo de su hermano y de las cosas por hacer en el hogar. Presentándose este escenario es comprensible que la adolescente tuviese un choque de emociones, ansiedad o muchas ganas de escapar de la situación que estaba viviendo, pero pienso que existen forma de transmitir esos sentimientos y no dar una historia donde Samantha se mete con un chamo que es mayor que tiene también muchos problemas y adicional a eso es drogadicto.

¿Qué paso con mantener la inocencia de los jóvenes, por lo menos hasta la mayoría de edad?

Samantha is the daughter of the one who is really the true victim of the whole story and I definitely do not like the role she plays because, yes, she goes through a very strong trauma which is the loss of her mother, adding to that practically her father who for seeking revenge abandons her leaving her at least 80% in charge of her brother and the things to do at home. Given this scenario, it is understandable that the teenager had a shock of emotions, anxiety or desire to escape from the situation she was living, but I think there is a way to convey those feelings and not give a story where Samantha gets involved with a boy who is older who also has many problems and in addition to that is a drug addict.

What happened to maintaining the innocence of young people, at least until they come of age?

La serie es realmente buena porque te atrapa desde un principio y al finalizar quedas con sed de querer saber que puede pasar en la siguiente temporada, a pesar de lo que comento de Camila y Zacaría que es realmente lo que pensaba, pero sé que es realmente necesario para dar desenvolvimiento a toda la trama lo único que de verdad no me gusto fue eso de Samantha y no, definitivo no es algo que puedas ver en compañía de menores de edad.

Yo a la primera temporada le doy un 7/10 y ahora me voy a preparar para ver este fin de semana la segunda temporada para venir a comentarles que tal me parece.

The series is really good because it grabs you from the beginning and at the end you are thirsty to know what will happen in the next season, despite what I said about Camila and Zacaría which is really what I thought, but I know it is really necessary to develop the whole plot the only thing I really didn't like was Samantha and no, it is definitely not something you can watch in the company of minors.

I give the first season a 7/10 and now I'm going to get ready to watch the second season this weekend and come back to tell you what I think of it.
