Hola amigo hive, estoy aquí una vez más para dar mi opinión personal acerca de la película "Elementos".

Hello friend hive, I am here once again to give my personal opinion about the movie "Elements".

Así que que siéntate, ya traigo té y galletas para compartir contigo. Lo que pasa es que la charla es larga y no quiero que te aburras. A veces hablo más de la cuenta.

Antes de hablar de la película me discupo por desaparecer, la inspiración se apaga y no es mentira cuando digo que no he visto una película en meses, más bien, no he visto una película de la que valga la pena hablar. Cuando revisé mi perfil volví a leer mis reseñas de películas y llamarlos "reseñas" creo que fue demasiado.

Una reseña abarca muchos temas disversos, un análisis completo que describe personajes, actores que lo interpretan, escenografía, guión, musica, e incluso los directores son analizados. Elementos y detalles que hacen a la película como es. Comparado con lo anterior mis escritos están a años luz de ser considerados una "reseña". Son demasiado personales y les falta profesionalidad e investigación.

Before I talk about the movie I argue about disappearing, the inspiration goes out and it's not a lie when I say I haven't seen a movie in months, rather, I haven't seen a movie worth talking about. When I checked my profile I went back to read my movie reviews and calling them "reviews" I think was too much.

A review encompasses many different topics, a complete analysis describing characters, actors playing them, set design, script, music, and even the directors are analyzed. Elements and details that make the movie what it is. Compared to the above my writings are light years away from being considered a "review". They are too personal and lack professionalism and research.

La película salió primero en el cine y yo no tuve la oportunidad de verla así que tuve que esperar a que la pusieran en Disney + para poder verla. Mientras ya miles de internautas ya daban sus opiniones acerca de la película. Muchos la catalogaban como buena película pero regular y que no valia la pena verla una segunda vez. La recaudación pasó sin pena ni gloria, recuperaron lo invertido y tuvieron ganancias entonces a mi parecer no era tan mala como decía ser. Pero tenía una opinión dividida.

Por un lado los gusto de las personas no tienen porque ser mis gustos y por otro lado que le haya ido bien en taquilla no significa que sea una buena película ( en otro post hablaremos de ese tipo de películas) así que solo tocaba esperar y ver.

Cuando la vi solo tenía una palabra para describirla. La película es Hermosa. Pero por supuesto vamos por parte que todavia te quedan muchas galletas por comer.

The movie came out first in theaters and I didn't have the opportunity to see it so I had to wait until it was put on Disney + to see it. Meanwhile thousands of internet users were already giving their opinions about the movie. Many considered it a good movie but average and that it was not worth seeing it a second time. The box office went by without a hitch, they recovered their investment and made a profit, so in my opinion it was not as bad as it claimed to be. But I had a divided opinion.

On the one hand people's tastes do not have to be my tastes and on the other hand that it has done well at the box office does not mean it is a good movie (in another post we will talk about that kind of movies) so I just had to wait and see.

When I saw it I only had one word to describe it. The movie is beautiful. But of course let's take it one part at a time, you still have a lot of cookies to eat.

Yo disfruto mucho de la animación, en general mi favorito es la animación 2d porque siempre me ha gustado el anime sin embargo cada animación tiene lo suyo y hay mucho esfuerzo y trabajo detrás. Pienso que el estudio de Pixar domina la animación por computadora totalmente, son los reyes por excelencia en este campo. Aunque sea en colaboración con Disney se nota el sentimiento y el detalle puesto en la película.

Tengo que halagar el diseño de la ciudad Elementos. Para mi es una belleza de la arquitectura. Parece una ciudad utópica futurista.

Lamentablemente todavía le falta un poco para ser una ciudad del futuro. Y es ahí donde vemos que además de tocar un aspecto fantasioso tambien tiene elementos reales. De lo cual es donde se concentra la película.

La película trata los habitantes de ciudad Elementos. Pienso que estaba dirigida a las interacciones de Ember y Wade sin embargo el protagonismo se lo llevó Ember y su papá.

I enjoy animation very much, in general my favorite is 2d animation because I have always liked anime, however each animation has its own thing and there is a lot of effort and work behind it. I think Pixar studio totally dominates computer animation, they are the kings par excellence in this field. Even if it is in collaboration with Disney, you can feel the feeling and the detail put into the film.

I have to praise the design of the city Elements. For me it is a beauty of architecture. It looks like a futuristic utopian city.

Unfortunately it still lacks a bit to be a city of the future. And that's where we see that in addition to touching a fantasy aspect also has real elements. Which is where the film concentrates on.

The film is about the inhabitants of the city Elements. I think it was aimed at Ember and Wade's interactions, but Ember and her dad took the spotlight.

Wade es un buen personaje, es compasivo y amable y siempre busca ayudar aunque la situación en la que se conocieron no era nada ideal. Es un personaje dulce que contraresta la personalidad explosiva de Ember.

Ember por otro lado es explosiva, no tengo maneras de describirlo más que como un fuego abrasador que lo consume todo. Tiene mal temperamento y pierde la paciencia con facilidad. Ese mal genio de ella no tiene sentido hasta que descubrimos más adelante en la película su frustración. Ella no quiere hacerse cargo de la tienda pero piensa que tiene que sacrificarse por sus padres como ellos se sacrificaron por ella. No es lo que ella quiere pero lo acepta.

Es ahí donde toca el primer tema real de la película. La presión de los hijos por enorgullecer a los padres.

Me sentí muy identificada con Ember en ese sentido y la entiendo perfectamente. A veces los padres quieren un futuro diferente del que nosotros queremos. Nos pone en un dilema, seguimos nuestros sueño aunque nuestros padres se decepcionen o hacemos lo que ellos quieren y vivimos frustados día a día por hacer algo que no queremos. A veces esto se resolvería con una charla pero no es tan secillo. La parte fácil es hablar; la difícil es abrir la boca.

No obstante el papá de Ember es el ejemplo de lo que es un sacrificio. Buscó en nuevas tierras un mejor futuro para su familia dejando su gente pero nunca olvidando las tradiciones.

Wade is a good character, he is compassionate and kind and always seeks to help even though the situation in which they met was far from ideal. He is a sweet character that counterbalances Ember's explosive personality.

Ember on the other hand is explosive, I have no ways to describe him other than as a scorching fire that consumes everything. She has a bad temper and loses her patience easily. That temper of hers doesn't make sense until we find out later in the movie her frustration. She doesn't want to take over the store but thinks she has to sacrifice for her parents as they sacrificed for her. It's not what she wants but she accepts it.

That's where she touches on the first real theme of the film. The pressure on the children to make the parents proud.

I really identified with Ember in that sense and I totally understand her. Sometimes parents want a different future than we do. It puts us in a dilemma, do we follow our dreams even if our parents are disappointed or do we do what they want and live in frustration day in and day out doing something we don't want to do. Sometimes this would be solved with a talk but it's not that simple. The easy part is talking; the hard part is opening your mouth.

However, Ember's father is the example of what a sacrifice is. He sought a better future for his family in new lands, leaving his people behind but never forgetting his traditions.

Y aquí está el segundo tema real de la película. Inmigración y xenofobia.

Un inmigrante es aquel individuo que llega a un lugar tras una migración. El concepto de migración tiene lógica y es entendible. Está en la naturaleza del ser humano buscar oportunidades. Oportunidades que ya tu lugar de origen no te puede ofrecer.

Un aspecto que siempre señalan en la película es que Ember es hija de inmigrantes, sus padres provienen de una tierra de fuego con fuertes tradiciones en lo que a mi concierne ancestrales.

Son tradicionales y viven en un lado de la ciudad muy aparte de los demás elementos que tengo entendido estaba abandonado. Alli forjaron su comunidad donde los otros elementos no son bien vistos. Allí es donde entra en juego la xenofobia.

Cuando Ember sale de su comunidad y va a la ciudad siempre se notan las malas miradas de algunos otros elementos además que no hay otra persona de fuego en la ciudad. Ella por si sola genera incomodidad solo por ser diferente eso y los comentarios directos en el pasado han hecho que su padre sea reacio a aceptar en un principio otros elementos. También se nota cuando piensan que está enamorada y quieren que esté con otra persona de fuego.

And here is the second real theme of the film. Immigration and xenophobia.

One aspect that is always pointed out in the film is that Ember is the daughter of immigrants, her parents come from a land of fire with strong ancestral traditions as far as I am concerned.

They are traditional and live in a side of town quite apart from the other elements that I understand was abandoned. There they forged their community where the other elements are not well regarded. That is where xenophobia comes into play.

When Ember leaves her community and goes to the city you always notice the bad looks from some other elements plus there is no other fire person in the city. She alone generates discomfort just for being different that and direct comments in the past have made her father reluctant to accept other elements at first. It also shows when they think she is in love and want her to be with another fire person.

Sin embargo aunque habian personas que la miraban fueron más los que la aceptaron y disfrutaron su diferencia. Los buenos siempre somos más.

Las relación de Ember y Wade son de polos opuestos en todos los sentidos. Empezando por lo que están hechos y terminando por sus personalidades e incluso sus clases sociales. Pero ellos lo hicieron funcionar.

Cómo dijo Wade "Hay muchos No por la que no deberiamos estar juntos pero un solo sí y eso es suficiente"

En conclusión fue una muy bonita película en todos los sentidos. Y es una que disfrutaria viendo por segunda vez.
