One of my Favorite: Pushpa the Rise
Since childhood, we knew only Hollywood and Bollywood but recently, like 2-3 years ago, we came to know about Tollywood. The credit goes to our cable operator who runs movie channels and he introduced this tollywood to the people of Pakistan. There was a time when I used to download movies through torrents and watch them all night but now, I just pick the remote control and watch movie on TV whatever my cable operator runs on it.
I was thinking to write about this movie “Pushpa” since I watched it. Last year, one of my colleague told us about this movie. He was appreciating the acting and get up of main role so much. Same day when I came home and at around midnight, turned on the TV, this movie was on the screen. Pushpa the Rise, featuring Allu Arjun, one of the stylish superstar of Tollywood. I called my bro and we watched this whole movie together. We didn’t took any break and watched it with so much of excitement, yes that’s true, this movie was absolutely stunning piece having run time of approx. 3 hours.
First thing first, I really liked the new look and get up of Allu Arjun as Pushparaj. He incredibly played this role wonderfully and full marks for his acting, expressions and delivering the dialogues, most importantly, the dance he did with his new steps, which also became famous all over subcontinent. Its no way near reality, its total fiction. We do watch movies to get refreshed or to change our moods and this movie did its best for me. No doubt, its full of action plus there is comedy, a bit of love story and emotional scenes, little bit of drama and kick of suspense.
I am not going to tell the story as I want you guys to watch it by yourself. Each and every character in the movie played his/her role brilliantly and there is involvement of each character, its well scripted. Choice for the names of characters is nicely done. I do remember their faces with the names in the movie as I don’t know their real names except Allu Arjun lol.
There is a popular dialogue from Pushpa which became very hit in Pakistan and that is “Jhukega Nahi” which means will not bend. The way he used to say that by running his hand through his beard, is liked by many. Another popular dialogue is “flower nahi, fire hai main” which means I am not a flower, I am fire. Pushpa means a flower in Indian Language so, he told other guys that don’t take me as a flower by my name, I am fire not a flower. This whole scene is one of favorite too. I just became a big fan of this movie. The dance steps and the song “teri jhalak asharfi” became the crowd favorites.
The original movie is in Teluga language but I watched it in Hindi dubbed version. I didn’t know even a single word of Teluga nor do I understand it. I am not sure if they make it in both Hindi and Teluga but who cares, I watched it in Hindi and I liked it very much. This is the first episode or can say chapter or part of Pushpa and fans are eagerly waiting for the second part of this movie. I would like to recommend this movie to all of you guys, just watch it and share your feedback or short review in the comments section. I am sure you won’t regret watching this master piece. Enjoy!!!!
