CineTV Contest: Zombie Love Story “Warm Bodies”
I was looking for a topic to write on and checked CineTv community. Guess what, its time to write on one of my favorite genre “Zombie Movies”. Yes, I do like Zombies and have watched a lot of Zombie movies. In fact, I would say there are many types of Zombie Movies, the gore ones in which you would see a lot of blood, then there are real horror movies-serious ones, some sci-fi and the best among them for me are the ones with comedy, a bit of suspense and horror. The whole concept of fear is changed due to the essence of comedy in Zombie Movies. I was a bit confused to select one out of so many Zombie Movies. I used to download and watch Zombie Movies long time back so I don’t remember much but yes, I do remember few of them like Dawn of the dead, Shawn of the dead, the legend (this one was a bit slow but I liked it), Zombieland full of fun and laughs, Planet Terror (waste of time for many but one should watch it for once hehehe) and many many more. i remember that Bollywood also made a Zombie movie, didn’t remember the name but it has one of the superstar Saif Ali Khan in it. Who ever invented these Zombies and their movements, is a super crazy person but he gave us something to laugh on. Seriously, Zombie is nothing to get scared of. Recently, I watched “Train to Busan” and I liked it too, it was a bit different from others and the acting is superb and the plot makes sense.
However, I chooses “Warm bodies” as my favorite Zombie Movie. The main reason of liking this movie is the acting of R ( the Zombie Boy) and his team. This one has a different story and it touches my heart. Once again, there is comedy, action, a bit of horror (can say) and romance. For the first time, we saw a zombie falling in love with human and it turned out to be the cure to change themselves into more human. This movie shows the power of love which can change anything and anyone. It shows the different character and picture of Zombies, they can be more human if fall in love. This Zombie was not at all scary but looks cute. There are many funny scenes which I won’t spoil by telling here so better go and watch it by yourself. Warm Bodies is a must watch.
