Gohan certainly deserved more screen time, as he is a character with a wonderful personality, authentic and with a lot to give.
In my case my favorite character in the series is Vegeta, along with his amazing family.

I agree about Gohan, regarding Vegeta I also think he has an interesting personality and the dynamic he has with his family is cool, he is also a good father.
