Maldad oculta (Netflix movie review)

Feliz domingo Hivers, ya se nos fue el fin de semana y se nos está yendo el mes también. El tiempo pasa bastante rápido pero bueno, hay tiempo para todo y por supuesto que hoy me vengo con una nueva trama.

No recuerdo la razon por la cual escogimos está película. No sé si fue por el protagonista quien tiene una excelente trayectoria en el mundo del cine, o si simplemente fue una recomendación de la plataforma como tal.

Lo que si es que está llena de mucho misterio y suspenso. En un primer plano se puede tornar muy extraño.

Hay una escena de introducción bastante directa que a mí personalmente no me quedé claro si era algo del pasado o un evento por suceder.

Sin embargo, luego de que un joven es contratado para arreglar una parte de la casa que fue destruida en una persecución, supe que era un evento pasado pero bastante extraño.

I don't remember the reason why we chose this movie. I don't know if it was because of the protagonist who has an excellent career in the world of cinema, or if it was simply a recommendation of the platform as such.

What I do know is that it is full of mystery and suspense. On close-up it can get very strange.

There's a pretty straightforward introductory scene that I personally wasn't clear if it was something from the past or an event about to happen.

However, after a young man is hired to fix a part of the house that was destroyed in a chase, I knew that it was a past event but a rather
strange.

Todos estos eventos se dan cuando hay una amenaza de huracán en la ciudad y también problemas familiares que llevan a este joven s aceptar cualquier trabajo para poder resolver la situación de enfermedad de su hijo.

El rostro del cliente, que en este caso es protagonizado por Nicolas Cage es muy sombrío, incluso sentí que se veía exageradamente viejo y descuidado.

Pero luego en el desarrollo de la temas entendí que era parte del rol que le tocaba en la trama.

Su papel es de un soldado retirado, cuya situación personal le ha llevado a ser una persona alcohólica, y a pesar de tener una esposa muy hermosa, su relación con ella no es del todo bueno, incluso se nota un poco no solo la falta de amor, también un sentido de pertenencia muy violenta.

Sin embargo, cuando llegas a un punto de la película que se empieza a cuestionar muchas cosas, empezando por la fidelidad de su esposa, podemos notar que ambos tienen secretos muy oscuros que les ha llevado a ser quienes son.

The face of the client, who in this case is played by Nicolas Cage is very somber, I even felt that he looked exaggeratedly old and neglected.

But then in the development of the issues I understood that it was part of his role in the plot.

His role is that of a retired soldier, whose personal situation has led him to be an alcoholic, and despite having a very beautiful wife, his relationship with her is not all good, even a little noticeable not only the lack of love, but also a very violent sense of belonging.

However, when you get to a point in the film where he begins to question many things, starting with his wife's fidelity, we can notice that they both have very dark secrets that have led them to be who they are.

Por un lado está una mujer supuestamente portadora de una enfermedad mortal que siempre soño con tener una familia muy amplia, y por otro lado está la despectiva y lastimosa situación de un hombre que no hace más nada que beber alcohol.

A pesar de ello, su casa nunca está descuidada pues al parecer contratan siempre personal para que todo esté en orden, o eso es lo que hacen parecer, que a pesar de no tener un matrimonio feliz ante los demás nada malo sucede, son una pareja feliz como cualquier otra.

Lo perturbador de está trama empieza con los intentos de seducción de la esposa para con el carpintero, viéndose como una real necesidad de placer ante básicamente la negación de su esposo de hacer el amor con ella.

Pero hay algo escondido en las intenciones de cada uno, pues se le hace una propuesta bastante fuerte e importante al carpintero que puede cambiar la vida de todos.

Sin embargo, es una trampa para ocultar las atrocidades que hay en ese hogar.

Lo extraño de la trama es que no queda muy claro la real conexión que tienen ellos como esposos o más bien antes de contraer matrimonio, pues s pesar de que cada uno tiene una trágica historia personal, creo que la reacción u historia del rol de Cage es muy válido. El de su esposa por el contrario es algo inimaginable y desagradable.

The disturbing part of this plot begins with the wife's attempts of seduction of the carpenter, which is seen as a real need for pleasure, basically because of her husband's refusal to make love to her.

But there is something hidden in everyone's intentions, as a strong and important proposal is made to the carpenter that can change everyone's life.

However, it is a trap to hide the atrocities in that home.

The strange thing about the plot is that it is not very clear the real connection they have as spouses or rather before marriage, because although each has a tragic personal history, I think the reaction or history of Cage's role is very valid. His wife's, on the other hand, is unimaginable and unpleasant.

Ante todo esto, las noticias se invaden no solo de los desastres del huracán, también sobre los secuestros de ciertos jóvenes que aún no han podido dar con sus paraderos.

Pero también hay un tema importante que era lo que mencionaba sobre el rol de Cage y es lo que tienen que vivir los soldados retirados una vez que ya no son "útiles".

Allí se expone un tema sobre lo injusto de que no haya un sistema o programa para reubicarlo ante la sociedad y darles ciertos beneficios, pues dejan de ser ciudadanos de la sociedad para convertirse enteramente en piezas claves de guerras y enfrentamientos.

Entonces acá se muestran como simples peones en una mesa de ajedrez que son usados y desechados por no decir desahuciados, con traumas, sin trabajo y totalmente desubicados mentalmente.
