Anoche como acostumbramos a hacer, decidimos ver esta película por recomendación de un tercero y por pues porque nos ha llamado la atención.
Last night as we usually do, we decided to watch this movie on the recommendation of a third party and because it caught our attention.
El hecho de que esté Ashley Greene y Bruce Willis me hizo pensar que no iba a ser una decepción, sin embargo creo que me he propuesto a verla con una expectativa mucho más de la que me dieron.
The fact that Ashley Greene and Bruce Willis are in the movie made me think that it was not going to be a disappointment, however I think I went to see it with a much higher expectation than I was given.
La trama en si no es mala, pero si hay algo muy diferente en todo, incluyendo la grabación de ciertas escenas donde sentí que hubo muchas fallas. Si lo que querían eran mostrar naturalidad la verdad es que no lo consiguieron porque se vio bastante tosco.
The plot itself is not bad, but there is something very different about everything, including the filming of certain scenes where I felt there were a lot of flaws. If what they wanted was to show naturalness the truth is that they didn't get it because it looked pretty rough.
Yo creo que la historia en si es interesante tomando en cuenta el título que tiene mucha relación. Creo que el error está en la ejecución del mismo. El ambiente donde se hicieron las grabaciones estuvo muy bien, me encanto ese elemento natural que se esperaba tener luego de tantas tragedias.
I think the story itself is interesting taking into account the title which has a lot to do with it. I think the mistake is in the execution of it. The environment where the recordings were made was very good, I loved that natural element that was expected after so many tragedies.
Lo digo más que todo porque cuando se hay tantos conflictos personales creo que lo mejor es alejarse del mundo exterior, de una forma en que se pueda conseguir esa paz y serenidad necesaria para ir luego resolviendo las cosas de una manera más efectiva.
I say this mostly because when there are so many personal conflicts I think it is best to get away from the outside world, in a way that you can get that peace and serenity needed to then go about resolving things in a more effective way.
Claro no es fácil los problemas de esta familia, considerando que caer en la realidad a veces no es sencillo y menos cuando hay una enfermedad como el cáncer que les hace pensar lo peor.
Of course, the problems of this family are not easy, considering that falling into reality sometimes is not easy and even less so when there is a disease like cancer that makes them think the worst.
No puedo imaginar lo desesperado que puede ser para los padres tener que enterarse que su hijo tenga tal enfermedad, sin embargo en contraste a la reacción que percibí en la trama, me hizo sentir bastante confundido sobre todo por la actuación de Bruce, lo sentí despreocupado a pesar de que sus palabras decían otra cosa, no hubo sentimiento en lo dicho y lo que pudo haber expresado con su rostro.
No se si sea porque ya esta viejo, pero nunca me había sentido incómodo con alguna actuación de este gran actor, o si más bien no entendi el papel de un padre tan sereno como para engañarme de tal forma.
Estar en el lugar equivocado es algo que siempre se suele decir cuando suceden cosas terribles a inocentes, y se demuestra acá tanto al inicio como en el transcurso de la trama.
Por un momento se volvió un imán la verdad pero es bueno porque es el punto principal de la película más allá de rebasar las adversidades.
I can't imagine how desperate it can be for parents to have to find out that their child has such a disease, however in contrast to the reaction I perceived in the plot, it made me feel quite confused especially for Bruce's performance, I felt him unconcerned even though his words said something else, there was no feeling in what he said and what he could have expressed with his face.
I don't know if it's because he's old, but I've never felt uncomfortable with any performance of this great actor, or if I didn't understand the role of a father so serene as to deceive me in such a way.
Being in the wrong place is something that is always said when terrible things happen to innocents, and it shows here both at the beginning and in the course of the plot.
For a moment it became a magnet but it's a good thing because it's the main point of the film beyond overcoming adversity.
Estar en un momento o lugar equivocado es suficiente para volverte la víctima de algo en lo que no tienes absolutamente nada que ver, pero también en el blanco fácil para aquel que busca vengarse de alguna forma.
Los villanos aquí, o más bien uno entre ellos me hace pensar que tiene una condición de inseguridad bastante fuerte, incluso me hizo reir con lo tosco que era, es decir, es malo para ser el malo definitivamente.
Pero pudiera ser que nació o estuvo en el lugar no indicado para desarrollarse como persona, pues su padre o cuidador se nota que no es la mejor persona del mundo, más bien es alguien que no es un buen ejemplo.
Aquí hay un interesante tema y contraste sobre la relación de un padre con su hijo y los protagonistas de esta trama. En el primer caso se ve el grado de disfunción que existe, y en el caso protagonista pues considero que hay una confianza y amor tan fuerte que están muy bien sincronizados en los momentos críticos que se necesita tomar decisiones.
Being in the wrong time or place is enough to make you the victim of something you had absolutely nothing to do with, but also the easy target for the one who seeks revenge in some way.
The villains here, or rather one among them makes me think he has a pretty strong insecurity condition, he even made me laugh with how crude he was, I mean, he's bad at being the bad guy definitely.
But it could be that he was born or was in the wrong place to develop as a person, as his father or caretaker is not the best person in the world, rather he is someone who is not a good example.
Here there is an interesting theme and contrast about the relationship of a father with his son and the protagonists of this plot. Hay un grado de comedia bizarra y bastante absurda en la trama, muy mal manejada a mi gusto, menos mal que es muy poco porque de verdad se me hizo desagradable a tal situaciones.

Ayer estaba evaluando en verla, casualmente escogí The Mother , estaba en modo evaluativo, pero se ve interesante por el contexto. Aunque también tiene ese toque frágil por lo que leí. Si existe falta de detalles en los personajes y no están bien trabajados, ¿debería apostar por verla? 🙈

Tengo algunas mismas impresiones. Hay algo en la película que no cuadra. Yo la vi y me hizo gracia la actuación del delincuente que llevó más palo que una gata ladrona jajaja. Bruce Willis salva la película, es un excelente actor.
Muchas cosas no cuadran si, mira que me acabas de acordar sobre eso porque de verdad que literalmente le dieron con el tobo de agua. Bruce es una marca imborrable. Creo que mi crítica hacia él fue bastante injusta luego de recordar su enfermedad, pero bueno, cosas que pasan.
Leí esto y recordé que a Bruce Willis le diagnosticaron una demencia frontotemporal no hace mucho, así que hay una alta probabilidad que haya sido en las fases iniciales que grabaron esta película y por eso no coordinaba algunas expresiones con la actuación amigo, que tristeza por ese hombre 😥💔 ¡lo amaré por la eternidad! 😓
Por otro lado y dejando de lado un poco lo triste, la película luce algo mala por tu review 🥹 ¡que risa con lo de los personajes siendo malos para ser malos! 😅😅 pero el resto de las cosas que describes como el argumento principal, el hecho que hayan incluido la relación lesbica que no parece forzada y que quiero ver la actuación de Willis, solo por ser él 🥺, me hacen querer verla.
