Saludos Hivers, feliz viernes para todos. Hoy no voy a publicar gameplay porque de alguna forma u otra se me ido la mañana aparte que estoy algo enfermo, entonces me he tomado casi todo el día de descanso, pero sin dejar a un lado que debo seguir trayendo contenido a mi blog.

Ayer mientras almorzaba me puse a ver una película con mi pareja que lo ha escogido él y que por fin no ha sido una mala elección, sin embargo, creo que la comida me ha caído mal, y no por un tema que la trama sea sangrienta o desagradable, es que el suspenso y ala tensión que se vive es una locura total.

Esta es una película basada en hechos reales, algo que me gusta muchísimo pues a pesar de que es cruda, la realidad es así, nos asombramos y todo pero las cosas suceden tal cual y es importante estar más cerca de esa realidad para saber que son posibles y que vivimos en un mundo donde las cosas mal hechas siempre tienen un mal resultado.

En lo particular a pesar de lo fuerte en si que es la trama me lo he disfrutado al máximo porque lo he sentido, tal vez no en carne propia pero los efectos especiales en si son suficientes como para sentir que estamos allí ante esa agonía que vivieron estos trabajadores de la industria petrolera.

! [English Text] Greetings Hivers, happy friday to all. Today I'm not going to post gameplay because somehow or another my morning is gone and I'm a bit sick, so I've taken almost the whole day off, but without leaving aside that I must continue bringing content to my blog.


Yesterday while I had lunch I started to watch a movie with my partner who has chosen it and that finally has not been a bad choice, however, I think the food has fallen bad for me, and not by a theme that the plot is bloody or unpleasant, is that the suspense and tension that is lived is a total madness.


This is a film based on real events, something that I like very much because although it is raw, reality is like that, we are amazed and everything but things happen as they do and it is important to be closer to that reality to know that they are possible and that we live in a world where the wrong things always have a bad result.


In particular, despite the strong plot, I have enjoyed it to the fullest because I have felt it, maybe not in my own flesh but the special effects are enough to feel that we are there before the agony that these workers of the oil industry lived.

Una de las cosas que siempre me he preguntado es la forma en que extraen petróleo en alta mar, no me he tomado el tiempo para investigar este tema en particular, pero considero que en esta película lo hacen muy bien, sobre todo respondieron a la incógnita que siempre tenia sobre como hacen para que las plataformas no se hundan y movilizarlas sin tener que desmantelar cada pieza.

La verdad que la ingeniería es algo espectacular de ver en estos casos, una estructura inmensa en alta mar con una estabilidad increíble si me lo preguntan. Ahora bien, no se si se trata un poco de ficción o si realmente existen plataformas así de extraordinarias.

El otro punto es la extracción, pues sabiendo que hay mucho lodo y tierra me preguntaba sobre cómo hacían todo este procedimiento y gráficamente quede maravillado a tal punto de incluso desear ser ingeniero y hacer algo como eso.

En si la película no solo son eventos, también dan una clase bastante agradable sobre el proceso de extracción de crudo en alta mar y todos los riesgos y consideraciones a tomar en cuenta cuando se va a hacer algo como esto.

[English Text] One of the things I have always wondered about is the way they extract oil offshore, I have not taken the time to investigate this particular topic, but I think that in this movie they do it very well, especially they answered the question I always had about how they make the platforms not to sink and mobilize them without having to dismantle each piece.


The truth is that the engineering is something spectacular to see in these cases, a huge structure on the high seas with an incredible stability if you ask me. Now, I don't know if this is a bit of fiction or if such extraordinary platforms really exist.


The other point is the extraction, because knowing that there is a lot of mud and earth I wondered about how they did all this procedure and graphically I was amazed to the point of even wishing to be an engineer and do something like that.


The movie is not only about events, it also gives a nice lecture about the process of offshore oil extraction and all the risks and considerations to take into account when doing something like this.

En particular en esta película en cuanto al procedimiento del mismo se enfocaron más en el cemento, que según se deja ver es la mezcla poderosa que permite una buena extracción del subsuelo y que la presión no juegue en contra de ellos, ya que se esta moviendo no solo lodo, también gases, así como la estabilidad del tuvo de extracción con respecto a la presión en si del mar.

Acá se hace énfasis en lo importante que es la revisión constante de este concreto antes de hacer una extracción de lodo y sobre todo hacer pruebas que verifiquen la fortaleza de dicho cemento cuya fractura puede ser algo muy perjudicial y por ende tornarse en perdidas monetarias e incluso mortales.

Hablando un poco sobre la parte actoral, una de las cosas que no sale de mi cabeza es lo incomodo que era ver a la actriz Gina Rodriguez con la voz de doblaje español que le colocaron a Bella en crepúsculo, no solo era descabellado, la gesticulación de su rostro y boca no iba en sincronía en lo absoluto.

Sin embargo me gusto mucho ver a Mark Wahlberg y Dylan O'Brien, actores también conocidos para mi que lo hicieron estupendo, sin dejar a un lado a Kurt Russel cuyo rol es bastante poderoso sobre todo por sentirse responsable de los eventos que suceden en dicha plataforma, se ve como el padre que protege a su equipo y que los quiere, además de ser el responsable de cada una de las decisiones que se tomen en la plataforma.

Here it is emphasized how important it is to constantly review this concrete before making a mud extraction and above all to make tests to verify the strength of the cement whose fracture can be something very harmful and therefore become monetary losses and even fatal.


Speaking a bit about the acting, one of the things that I can't get out of my head is how uncomfortable it was to see the actress Gina Rodriguez with the Spanish dubbing voice that they put on Bella in Twilight, not only was it crazy, the gesticulation of her face and mouth was not in sync at all.


However I really liked to see Mark Wahlberg and Dylan O'Brien, actors also known to me who did great, without leaving aside Kurt Russel whose role is quite powerful especially for feeling responsible for the events that happen on the platform, he looks like the father who protects his team and loves them, besides being responsible for each of the decisions taken on the platform.

En cuanto a la trama, totalmente imponente, desde los gráficos del proceso de extracción hasta el fatal evento de la patada (así le llaman cuando la presión sale con lodo de la tubería principal), hasta el fatídico momento en que los gases se abren camino en las tuberías de aire de la plataforma hasta llegar a los motores, haciendo que una sobrecarga de energía produzca una explosión que acaba con gran parte de la plataforma.

El desespero de muchos es algo que se siente a simple vista y esto es gracias a cada uno de los efectos especiales, desde lo visual hasta el sonido, todo hecho con detalle como si realmente había pasado del modo en que lo han mostrado en esta película.

Lastimosamente hubo muchas perdidas materiales, pero más importante e hecho de las vidas sacrificadas por una mala decisión y la avaricia de un grupo de empresarios que solo velan por el dinero sin importar consecuencias, y entre estas misma consecuencias, muertes y uno de los derrames petroleros más grandes en la historia de EEUU.

[English Text] As for the plot, totally impressive, from the graphics of the extraction process to the fatal event of the kick (that's what they call it when the pressure comes out with mud from the main pipe), to the fateful moment when the gases make their way into the air pipes of the platform until they reach the engines, causing an overload of energy to produce an explosion that wipes out a large part of the platform.


The desperation of many is something that can be felt at a glance and this is thanks to each of the special effects, from visual to sound, all done in detail as if it had really happened the way they have shown it in this film.


Sadly there were many material losses, but more importantly the fact of the lives sacrificed by a bad decision and the greed of a group of businessmen who only care about money regardless of the consequences, and among these consequences, deaths and one of the largest oil spills in U.S. history.
