A couple of days ago I saw a trend on Tik Tok where using an image everyone tried to describe their favorite movies according to various criteria.

Since these days I have been a bit busy and I have had very little time to see new films, I think it would be interesting to vary my content a bit with a publication of this type, also taking advantage of this initiative so that any of you (if you wish) can do the same.

My goal is obviously not to describe all of these films in depth, but to briefly express why each one of them deserves the category I'm assigning it, so let's get started.

1.Favorite Film of All time. (Favorite movie of all time)

Here we start very strongly, and although there are many candidates that I could place here, I think there is no better example than Goodfellas, the iconic film by Martin Scorsese in which he deconstructed gangster cinema to bring it to modernity.

2.Best Script.

This is a difficult category to define, personally the first thing that comes to mind is a movie where everything flows with precision: the actions of its characters, how they communicate, etc. And honestly, I think When Harry Meets Sally deserves the credit.

3.Favorite Poster.

Again there are many examples that fit this very well, I think Silence of the Lambs is my favorite poster, it's abstract but it connects very well with the central themes of the film.

4."I'll watch it someday"

I have a very long to-do list, probably one of the most important is Shutter Island.

5.Big Personal Impact.

La la land, I spoke about her recently, I find the way in which she approaches the subject of the obsession with success incredible, her love story is beautiful and I love the music.

6.Best Long Movie.

The Irishman, I find Scorsese's ability to captivate me for so long without being annoying.

7.You Like but everyone hates.

Jojo Rabbit, undoubtedly Taika Waititi's best work and a project that addresses a delicate subject in a hilarious way without abandoning the emotional.

8.You hate but everyone likes.

Deadpool, I'm not a big fan of his style of humor.

9.Underrated.

Chef, a perfect movie where Jon Favreau airs his problems with the production of Iron Man 2 through a clever analogy.

10.Overrated

Megan, she's just not that good.

11.Why do I like this?

A Goofy Movie, appeals to my nostalgia even though you were far from brilliant.

12.Great Soundtrack.

Kid Cudi was in charge of the music and the script for Entergalactic, I think it's brilliant... A unique way to harness the potential of psychedelic animation by mixing everything with similar sounds.

Well, I think this is enough for today. Maybe later I decide to continue with the rest of this initiative 😅

Hace un par de días ví una trend en Tik Tok en dónde usando una imagen todo el mundo trataba de describir sus películas favoritas de acuerdo a varios criterios.

Cómo estos días he estado un poco ocupado y he tenido muy poco tiempo para ver nuevos filmes, creo que sería interesante variar un poco mi contenido con una publicación de este tipo, aprovechando también está iniciativa para que cualquiera de ustedes (si lo desea) haga lo mismo.

Mi finalidad obviamente no es describir todas estas películas a profundidad, sino expresar brevemente por qué cada una de ese merece la categoría que le estoy asignando, así que empecemos.

1.Favorite Film of All time. (Película favorita de todos los tiempos)

Aquí empezamos con mucha fuerza, y aunque existen bastantes candidatos que podría ubicar aquí, creo que no existe un mejor ejemplo que Goodfellas, la icónica cinta de Martin Scorsese en dónde deconstruyó el cine de gángsters para llevarlo a la modernidad.

2.Best Script. (Mejor guión)

Está es una categoría difícil de definir, personalmente lo primero que se me viene a la mente es una película en dónde todo fluya con precisión: las acciones de sus personajes, el como se comunican, etc. Y honestamente, creo que When Harry Meet Sally merece el reconocimiento.

3.Favorite Poster. (Poster favorito)

De nuevo hay muchísimos ejemplos que encajan muy bien con esto, creo que Silencie of the Lambs es mi poster favorito, es abstracto pero conecta muy bien con los temas centrales de la película.

4."I'll watch it someday" (La veré algún día)

Tengo una lista de pendientes muy grandes, probablemente una de las más importantes sea Shutter Island.

5.Big Personal Impact. (Gran impacto personal)

La la land, hablé de ella recientemente, me parece increíble la forma en la que aborda el tema de la obsesión con el éxito, su historia de amor es hermosa y la música me encanta.

6.Best Long Movie. (Mejor película Larga)

The Irishman, me parece sorprendente la capacidad que tiene Scorsese para cautivarme durante tanto tiempo sin que se haga pesado.

7.You Like but everyone hates. (A ti te gusta pero los demás la odian)

Jojo Rabbit, sin duda el mejor trabajo de Taika Waititi y un proyecto que aborda un tema delicado de manera hilarante sin abandonar lo emocional.

8.You Hate but everyone likes. (La odias pero a los demás les encanta)

Deadpool, no soy muy fanático de su estilo de humor.

9.Underrated. (Infravalorada)

Chef, una película perfecta en dónde Jon Favreau ventila sus problemas con la producción de Iron Man 2 por medio de una inteligente analogía.

10.Overrated (Sobrevalorada)

Megan, simplemente no es tan buena.

11.Why do I like this? (Por qué me gusta esto?)

A Goofy Movie, apela a mi nostalgia aunque diste de ser brillante.

12.Great Soundtrack. (gran banda sonora)

Kid Cudi estuvo encargado de la música y el guión de Entergalactic, me parece brillante... Una forma única de aprovechar el potencial de la animación psicodelica mezclando todo con sonidos similares.

Y bueno, creo que esto es suficiente por hoy. Quizá luego decida continuar con el resto de esta iniciativa 😅
